As the title says, great location; very picturesque....... just never been impressed with the food. Had the cheese fondue and it was not nice at all; very odd taste. Attentive staff but always seem rushed and not that interested in what you'd like. We had a nice experience overall as there was a band playing great music so with a... More

The place is just next to Plaza de Armas. The molcajete and enchiladas, plus the beef soup were delicious and plentiful. Our waiter was kind but he was overstreched as was the rest of the staff on a very busy Saturday night. Maybe the were not enough staff. In the end the experience was still good but not special, as... More

We were a group of 5 adults and 3 children. We had a couple of tables set outside, with a nice view of the Plaza de Armas, the menu is 100% Mexican, however you can order something from: 'Tourist taste' safe (Hamburger), 'traditional food' joy (Enchiladas Queretanas) to an 'enthomophagous taste' delicacy. A great place for business meetings too. The... More

Wonderful atmosphere and excellent food. Equally good service. Compatible romantic music. Popular with locals. A good sign.

High end restaurant, but the food is cheap for Americans. Big steak with all the trimmings for at most $18 US. Don't get the cheesecake, though, they don't use sugar. Go to the restaurant at the Courtyard hotel by Empresalia for cheesecake.

After a less-than-stellar experience at its immediate neighbor, I was prepared for 1810 to be mediocre, but I had a great time here and the service was really wonderful - especially for a group of 20 people! We had a set menu because of the group size (conference dinner), and so we didn't have a ton of choice, but what... More

Has a nice terrace on the zócalo, so you can enjoy the life on the square while eating. The food was decent but nothing special, and service a bit old fashioned.

My husband and I stopped into this charming restaurant for a delightful respite from the hot afternoon sun. We were pleased to obtain an outside table so that we could people watch and listen to the beautiful music that was being played on a keyboard. Although we only ordered soft drinks, the wait staff were very polite to us. We... More

Right in front of the Plaza de Independencia, it has a nice terrasse with a musician that is not too loud. The food is French with a very heavy touch of Mexican influence that takes away it's original flavour. The service is very good and the wine is correct. There is a lot of Tequila. Worth going at.

While we lunched on white linen cloths beneath shade trees, watching people in the plaza in front of us, a talented musician entertained us with sweet and lively melodies on his keyboard. Service was perfect, food gorgeous and delightful. Great place for morning coffee, afternoon snacks or treats, dependable fine meals.

What better name could there be for the restaurant looking directly at the Palacio de la Corregidora and the beautiful square that has been happening history of Queretaro and the country?

1810 Restaurant, with its prime location in the heart of Historic Downtown Queretaro, offers locals and visitors an exquisite menu of Mexican and international cuisine.

In this place you'll find traditional dishes that are hard to find elsewhere, such as: Grasshoppers, Escamoles, Chinicuiles (seasonal) and specialties such as : Molcajete Queretano; Molcajete "1810" and Escargots Bourguignon.
