Always a delicious gourmet dinner and wonderful environment for the Adirondack Mountains. We can't make our yearly trip complete without dinner here at least one night!

I had been reading reviews saying the restaurant slipped. So untrue! Very imaginative and varied menu topped only by the quality of the food. Anything spicy is excellent and seafood is incredibly good. They also have a very large wine selection that is very fairly priced. Like cheap! Oh, and to wrap it up, they have a killer dessert menu.... More

The Seventh Lake House is an old favorite with my wife and myself. We try to eat there every time we visit the western Adirondacks. This time we went back twice. I started with turkey toes. Made with cheese and deep fried. Sensational!!! My wife and I both ordered the meatloaf en crut. I had a delicious mousse dessert. The... More

We ate out every night this week, and this is, BY FAR, the BEST FOOD we've had!!! We have been coming to this area for 40+ years and are VERY familiar with area restaurants.

Not sure how a place like this can screw up a fish fry but they did. Big piece of haddock was over fried and the French fries right out of a bag. Nasty. Nasty. Nasty. My fellow diners' meals weren't much better. Dry chicken, greasy sauces, watery sauces, unripe avocado salsa, blah salmon. This is not fine dining folks. And... More

We've been coming to the area for many years but this was our first time to this popular restaurant. Nice ambiance, friendly & efficient wait staff & hostess. We sat on the covered porch, served by Chas, ordered his suggested prime rib. Excellent. The real deal - roast prime rib. Comfy bar with popular bartender who is a pro. Will... More

A very enjoyable place to eat. The special "DIvers and Crab" is wonderful. They smoke their own trout and the appetizer is very special. The menu is varied with many great dishes. The margaritas are amazing and the service is always friendly and efficient. Have been going here for many years and it never disappoints.

Service is perfect, atmosphere is comfortable. Very interesting menu. ONE of my favorites is Shrimp Zydaco. Always a very good meal. Visiting friends always want to go there for dinner. You will get the best cosmo ever. Jeff is the best bartender. Do not miss this great place!

I have visited twice in the last 2 years and do not foresee going back. The prices are outrageously high. One diner in our party ordered a ribeye steak. The plate came out with just that, a steak and some french fries that were stock frozen food. No salad, no vegetable, not even any garnish. $28. Another person in our... More

We have eaten dinner at the Seventh Lake house fo almost a decade. for a long time it was the best restaurant in the area. In the last three years, it depends on the night. We have great meals, particular the fish and some disappointing ones. It is worth a try.
