Fantastic place! No wait to get in. Waitress was very friendly, and very quick. Beers are cold and delicious. We got a margherita flatbread that was excellent. Fresh tomatoes, great crust. Got the buffalo chicken sandwich, huge portion, spicy! Also had a chicken Caesar salad,...which was massive and loaded with grilled chicken. Would go back again and again.More

Just a short walk from the William Henry Miller Inn where we were staying, we waited just 5 minutes for outside seating (highly advise over darker indoors) and had solid food and great service two nights in a row. Obviously popular among locals as well....Would highly recommend.More

Wife and I were here for a light dinner. We both had the salad with tuna and both thought they were good. I also had a Lake Placid Ale which was quite good. Noise level pretty high but to be expected in a pub.

I never have high expectation with Ale Houses (some are good some are mediocre) but this one was great. The staff is very professional from the time you walk in and the food is excellent. We ended up eating at the bar because we wanted...to see the basketball game. The bartenders were very friendly and accommodating. I had the french dip and it was excellent, really nice juice and the meat and bread were perfect they don't skimp on the meat (ask for horseradish if you like that) and my friend's black and blue burger was really good also. The prices were fair. They are moving down the street at some point but I would highly recommend this place.More

Called ahead to see if they had any tables. The person who picked up was beyond rude. When asked where they were, I got a “The same location we’ve been for two and a half years!” Get there, discover the a/c is out, and so...is the fish and half the menu. The bartender tried hard to make things pleasant. Burgers were okay but just okay. Fries were greasy. Beer was good. What’s the big deal about this place?More

I read that they were rated as having the BEST onion rings in Ithaca. So I went there. YES! It is true! I crave them! Iget them with a side of blue cheeze dressing for dipping. these days, with all the Covid nonsense going around,...I order them on the phone, go get them, and eat them in my car, I can't even wait to take them home!More

Moved to the area recently and I try to have a lunch in town once a week. I take the bus in so I can have a wine, beer or cocktail. The fish and chips here were massive, and well done. Crispy and flavorful fish...and the chips were not soggy. The pleasant waitress recommended an ale for me, as I am not a big beer drinker. It had a slight peach flavor and was very pleasant. I would come back here again.More

Nice selection of craft beer on tap. Inside and outside seating available. The buttermilk battered buffalo chicken sandwich was probably the best I've ever had. Our waitress, Megan, was friendly and super cute.

Delicious burgers cooked exactly as requested. Nothing else matters really, lol. Wait staff was OK, although she could have been a little more attentive. Great restaurant right off the commons...

Please make a stop here. The atmosphere is cozy and cute. The service is spectacular, with staff that you FEEL like cares for you! AND THE FOOD, blew my socks off. Best burgers on the east side of the United States. I had to stop...myself from eating the whole thing just so I could enjoy it again later!More

No you should be fine. It does tend to get busy, but you shouldn't need a reservation.

They have outside seating where people had pets with them, but I think only service animals are permitted inside. Hope this helps.
