The best pizza around!! We got sausage and pepperoni and it was great! We go here every chance we get to either eat in or take home. They also have other Italian dishes.

This was the worst pizza I ever had. We ordered a large with mushrooms and spinach and it was totally tasteless! Being on a fixed income, the $21 I spent really hurt and I have no idea how to make the leftovers palatable enough to eat. We'll never go back.

This place makes great Italian, whether it's a pizza, hot wings, meatball sub, or ziti!!! Everything is piping hot and delicious!!! And the staff is wonderful. The shop is kept clean and fresh. Mostly we order delivery, which is probably the quickest in town, and again it is hot and fresh. Everything is reasonably priced as well. We love Sal's,... More

We just wanted to make a quick stop while passing through Ithaca, and figured college towns would have good pizza. Sal's did not dissappoint. It's not fancy. It's just a pizza joint. But it has good pizza that you can buy by the slice, which is what we were looking for. Flavorful crust, tasty sauce, and quality cheese. Good New... More

I ordered take-out, because it was getting late. I ordered at 9:30, and they delivered to the hotel nearby. The delivery was timely. The food was okay. I ordered the chicken parmesan. There were several pieces of chicken, really too many. It did not include pasta, but pasta could count as one of the sides or order it a la... More

Spending the night in Ithica and ordered pizza from Sal's because of the reviews. Crust was tough and the sauce was tasteless.

I had ordered pizza here once, and was happy with the quality, though not the price. We decided to have dinner here and frankly none of us were very happy with our meals. I ordered the chicken parmigiana dinner, with onion rings. My onion rings were brought out approximately four or five minutes after we placed our order. Clearly they... More

When my wife and I are in the mood for a genuine Italian pizza, we make the call (we live 11 miles away) and pick it up to take back home .It is some of the most delicious sausage I've ever had!

In Ithaca we DO have Pizza by the slice. (unlike Chicago) Sals is good, and a nice place to go if you are on the commons, especially if you have a group, and everyone wants different things. Its not the only place near the commons to eat, but its good.
