I've eaten at Cafe Dewitt for 30 years and I never get tired of it. Breakfast/lunch/brunch and occasionally dinner. Food is excellent. Preparation is excellent. Service is good. Friendly atmosphere.

We must have arrived at the right time. No wait, fast service, and the waiter was very efficient and courteous. The food was wonderful, yummy, unique, very fresh and presented well. The only knock (not that big of a deal considering the area) was the price of our breakfast was a bit over the top (about $15/per person).

The usual omelet choices. Crowded and so less service. The food was good but nothing to write home about.

Cafe Dewitt is located in the basement of a very crafty, small mall. You will be surrounded by huge fish tanks and you enjoy your farm fresh sandwiches. I looked around and everyone seemed to be enjoying their food and experience in this quirky eatery...so did I!

We were a group of 8! Plus my brother sat at the next table with his wife and son. They accommodated us with swiftly taking our orders. Everyone enjoyed the food even my nephew with egg and nut allergies that restrict his diet. It took the orders awhile to appear but we were not rushed. They were good to keep... More

We went this Saturday, and we probably will never go back. We waited 10 min just to be brought water and then another 15 min just to have our order taken. After waiting a whopping 1hr and 15 minutes, our food finally arrived which was just some eggs, toast, salad, and a sandwich. The sandwich was cold, the food was... More

Don't judge this book by it's cover ! The food was excellent. Beautiful presentation. Everything was fresh and appealing to the eye. The service was were good. Don't go expecting to use a credit card, they only take cash or check. When you are finished eating take a minute to check out the shops.

It's a little different...imagine a restaurant in a hallway. They don't take reservations, so plan on waiting in line for a while. We were there on a Saturday for brunch. They had an interesting set of specials. All of our dishes were tasty. Service was a little slow as they were full with people waiting. I recommend it for something... More

We stopped in for breakfast, had the French toast, omelet, and fried egg sandwich. Everything was delicious! The service was fantastic and the space is charming. Definitely stop in for breakfast or lunch!

My mom and I were looking for a sit-down breakfast one morning in Ithaca during our recent trip to the Finger Lakes area. Cafe Dewitt was around the corner from our hotel and the Trip Advisor rating was good. I think there are more specials/specialty dishes on the brunch menu, but the regular breakfast menu was still really interesting, with... More
