Best Sunday Brunch in Ithaca, but the line starts early and lasts a long time. Get there early. Once seated, the service is great, and food came more quickly than I expected for such a packed place. We had a large group, so we all got to taste each others' choices.

Don't miss the toasted sandwiches, they are out of this world. It's a great place to hang out. If the people watching becomes boring, one can always look at the fish in the aquariums!

The food at Cafe Dewitt was quite good and, given that it was breakfast, more original than I was anticipating. I ordered the Chef's Plate which was eggs with fresh spinach, roasted potatoes and red onion....very good. My wife ordered something more standard - scrambled eggs with bacon toast etc... she enjoyed hers as well. For a simple breakfast it... More

What a wonderful change from the standard breakfast menu items! Everything had a unique twist to it, was made with wholesome ingredients, and was extremely delicious. Good service as well. The location inside the mall was a little odd, but no complaints. Go early or you'll be waiting for a table for sure!

I love this place. The food is great. The servers nice. The value great. Something odd happened today, however, that put me off. There was the unusual long wait for brunch(which is expected and fine) of about thirty minutes. The host welcomed some friends, took their names, etc. What bothers me slightly was that he offered them coffee to ease... More

The food was actually superb. I say that because I almost mistook this place for a storage locker in a fish store. It was packed the entire time. I doubt you will be coming here for the atmosphere.. Even our server was snobbish, BUT she was on top of things...never had to ask or second guess... she earned her 50%... More

Although not the greatest atmosphere, the food was excellent, service was good. Be prepared to wait for a table if you are a group of 4 or more.

Cafe Dewitt has great food, especially if eggs are your favourite for a weekend brunch. The eggs florentine is my personal fav. The service can be a bit shaky, the wait times slightly long, but it never disappoints on the taste, except if you're getting the french toast. If you want french toast, head over to carriage house for their... More
