Joe's Restaurant really does make you feel at home. I know there is a chain that says eating there is like coming home, but at Joe's this is really true. The food is delicious -- rich, delicate and carefully prepared. The waitstaff is unobtrusive and attentive at the same time -- quite a feat. The portion sizes are amble. They... More

We went in on a Saturday evening. The prices seemed fair, restaurant clean. We sat at a table near the bar so we could see a football game on that evening. I think they are purchasing cheap wine and repackaging it as more expensive brands. The waitress came to our table and did not have a cork screw to remove... More

Thank you for your feedback as we take all customer comments very seriously. We apologize for your experience and our management team is looking into your concerns. Further, we understand your perception of the wine service and clearly that server needs more training. Transferring any alcoholic product from one bottle to another is a violation of New York State liquor... More

It has been a while since I was here last. I can imagine this place back in the 40's and 50's. But now, it has light wood floors and a more contemporary feel. Pleasant interior. It was a slow Sunday night and the staff was attentive. I had the pillows (fried ravioli with marinara sauce). Nice. Then, I thought I... More

Whenever my dad visits Ithaca, Joe's is the restaurant I always take him to first. We are always impressed by the way we are treated by staff and we always leave satisfied. Portions are large, so you can most likely split an appetizer and entree and still leave full. Definitely great for date nights, too!

We have dinner at Joe's once or twice a year. Always predictable, fun, good service, mixture of locals and tourists. Very solid food and drink. Best known for its Italian dishes - done very well indeed. You can get good salads, steak, seafood, but the best dishes are Italian, flatbread sandwiches, and great pizza. Quite easy to find downtown Ithaca.... More

After attending a sports event at Ithaca College, we were looking for a nice restaurant to eat at before heading back home to Northern New York State. Our friends suggested Joe's. Nice selection of Italian dishes, my chicken parm. was outstanding. We don't often travel through Ithaca, but when we return, we will also return to Joe's.

We had a long day, ordered carry out. The pizza was good. The salad was fresh. Even though the restaurant was very busy or order was ready in a short time. I would order from here again.

We stopped here per a recommendation from a friend for a late lunch. The staff was welcoming and a great family, friendly atmosphere . The good was exceptional and the quantity was amazing. Would recommend anyone visiting Ithaca to stop in here for a meal! Well worth your time.

The bar was woefully understaffed when I visited for a fun paint night event at Joe's. While the drinks were fine, argos is better. The lack of tastiness of the appetizers severely dampened my opinion. My friend order spinach artichoke dip that was passable which came with overly fried limp pita chips. I ordered broccoli and cheese bites, which had... More

Joe's has generous portions and decent food. There's a nice variety of options on the menu with some seasonal specialties. Dessert is good and is worth saving room for.
