The restaurant states that it is a Vegetarian and Indian Restaurant. With that name, I expected to find a full menu of Indian dishes, including standards like Aloo Gobi, Bindi Masala, and Baingan Bharta, Instead, this restaurant has a few Indian curries, and also some Chinese dishes, some Italian dishes, veggie burgers, etc. It would be fair to say that... We have been coming to Annam Brahma for about 10 years now and it's always been a pleasure. Staff is great and the owners are always welcoming. Try it all, you won't regret it. My husband enjoys Thursday, Italian night and I enjoy Fridays, Meatloaf night. Their soups are good especially the daal and the desserts are amazing.

I always try to visit Annam Brahma when I am in New York. It has a sacred temple atmosphere which I really love. My favourite meals is the Indian Dal, Cheese Griller Burger and the side of soy vegetarian "Meatballs"

Ever since I've lived in Jamaica, Queens, this has been my go-to source for healthy & conscious vegetarian food. The atmosphere is like no other restaurant I've been to...it's like walking through a time portal into an Indian temple from bygone days! The menu is a delightful blend of East & West, so if curry isn't your thing, there's still... More

The place is both a very nice place to eat and a very interesting place to visit, it has a large menu of totally vegetarian meals. The staff say that almost everything is made freshly each day. I would recommend the Dal and / or the salads. The restaurant is run by meditating nuns, so plenty of good vibes.

The grillers are my favorite dish here, ask them to make it with "bacon strips" really crispy. (its fake bacon) I have taken people who are not vegetarian to try these, and they have loved them. Note that this is a very small, cozy, local restaurant with its own charm (Its run by Sri Chinmoy disciples). Prices are very good... More

This is my go to restaurant for vegetarian food. It doesn't get better than this! This is a small restaurant that is operated by the Sri Chinmoy organization. The place has a really peaceful and calming atmosphere, so much so, that you almost want to whisper and not disturb the peace. The food is divine. I never thought vegetarian food... More

A really spiritual treat. Run by students of Sri Chinmoy, Annam Brahma feeds the body and soul. Peaceful and meditative atmosphere, friendly and courteous service and simple yummy food. Mmmmm!

I've been coming to this restaurant for about 30 years and I'm not the only one. They have a large and loyal following from all over Queens. As you'd expect with Queens their customers are extremely diverse, both ethnically and culturally. Interestingly, I see a lot of Indians eating here which is perhaps the best endorsement an Indian restaurant can... More
