My colleague and I were in Binghamton on business and stopped at the Village Diner for breakfast on our way home. The service was fantastick and the food was excellent. Its out of the way but worth a few extra minutes to get to.

Looking for a different place for lunch, I remembered this place was recommended as one of the top 10 'hole in the wall' spots for great food. The place was a lot bigger than I thought from the outside and seemed very clean and comfortable. I like to try different things so the waitress recommended the macaroni and cheese sandwich.... Brought my son here for breakfast. The place is not fancy but everything is served with a smile. The place and its workers have personality! What a nice change from chain eating establishments.

I frequent this diner whenever I get an opportunity. The food is great and the staff is so incredibly friendly. They are also accommodating with special orders. We always are so pleased with our experience

Old style diner. A little small but comfortable. My wife and I heard the food was good and they were right. She had a BLT and I had a pulled pork, both very tasty and good portion. I change my side to the chipotle slaw (instead of fries) which really complemented the pulled pork. My wife change hers up to... More

Came here somewhat unexpectedly for breakfast with my two brothers, some of our wives and one of my nephews. We had eaten here a couple of years ago on a similar visit to the area to see my uncle at the NY State Veterans Home in Oxford, and we thought this place was so good, down-to-earth, and homey that we... Always busy, but you never have to wait long. Diners frequently ask you to sit with them if you are waiting. Newly remodeled and expanded. Even the restroom is spotless. Delicious food-large portions and nicely presented on your plate. All staff seem to really enjoy their work and work well together. Even the owner and chef will stop and ask... More

This is an unimposing restaurant in a rather pathetic neighborhood of dilapidated houses and stores. Very easily reached from the Southern Tier Expressway however. You walk in to the original dining room with the cook station and counter seating on the right. We were seated in a bright and clean new dining area to the left. Our waitress, Nattie, was... More
