I grew up with Howard Johnson Restaurants and loved them. Feeling nostalgic, and wanting to support this "last one standing," my date and I stayed to eat despite the moldy smell that hit us when we walked in. For $20, we got the world's worst...More

My husband and I stopped in here for the first time in 50 yrs. and enjoyed it. Our meals were good and the staff was nice. Brought back nice memories of working there.

we stopped in on our way out of town after vacation for breakfast. The food wasn't very tasty, though the portions were heafty. The included fruit bar was just watermelon slices and veggies that you would put on a salad. I was turned off at...More

We found bugs in the jelly container. And the place as soon as you walk in the place the smell of mold and mildew hit you in the face. We had to leave couldn't eat there.

Breakfast was good, salad bar was small. Last remaining Hojo so worth going to. Easy access on Route 9.

You walk in and notice that nobody is in there but a few customers. You are seated at a table that is sticky. My entire group ordered the spaghetti with salad bar. The salad has nothing on it but lettuce cheese and dressing and cherry...More

Do not eat here. The place smells like mildew, the salad bar has only the following items: browning lettuce, rubbery tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, dressings, grapefruit, watermelon, and apples THAT IS IT! Ridiculous. The food was bland, home fries were microwaved. Oh and they also ripped...More

I grew up in Little Neck, LI with a Howard Johnson's Restaurant on our corner. I remember the ice cream and the fried clams. This Lake George location is the last of the chain, and I'm so glad it hasn't gone the way of so...More

Honestly, I had the clams and they were good, but they were the only good entree among 3 of us. They were very expensive, $17. The place is really old and not renovated at all. You're better off going elsewhere. It's... More
