Enjoyed this very much indeed, staying at the lodge and eating everyday enjoyed good simple fair but good quality and an excellent wine list. Perfect for a simple dinner or lunch in a very funky comfortable atmosphere.

The location and views are 7 stars. The lunch terrace had a few locals and some hotel guests but it felt stuffy and forgotten. The waiter was very kind but not well versed with the menu. The champagne on the sunny terrace was super. My...More

I haven't been here since 2012, the view is amazing, the lodge beautiful and worth visiting. I went in for lunch and the menu is limited and on the expensive side and the service was not very good. Also 2 out of the 3 public...More
A high end, informal restaurant with magnificent views overlooking Lake Placid. The outdoor dining balcony has heaters and blankets for comfort into October. I had a saffron fish and rice stew one night and ravioli and white chocolate ice cream for dessert the next night....More
Had a beautiful evening with drinks and food outside on the balcony. Could not have been any better.
Maggie's Pub is all about the view. Bartender makes a great drink. Service is OK. Food leaves a lot to be desired for the price.
The setting is spectacular but Maggie's lacks consistency in both service and food. This visit our server was great - but my drink never came. Charcuterie platter was excellent - but the chicken on my club sandwich was bone dry.
Walking into Maggie's is probably a bit like walking into an exclusive Hunt Club in Scotland. Great, comfortable décor, wonderful drinks and wait staff.
The cocktails in this place are amazing, get the SETVE-O! The view is amazing and the atmosphere in here anytime of year is worth the cost of admission. Food is also great just bring your checkbook! its not cheap.
