What's a trip to Mamaroneck without getting a Walters Hot Dog! They now have a food truck too. The kids really like these hot dogs and they are as good or better tan the ones you do on the grill. An institution within itself.

Walters hot dogs are the best anywhere...and I mean anywhere. The menu is straight forward, they stay focused on what they are good at.

As always, a perfect hot dog. Fries were good too. A nice place to eat back of the restaurant. Like in your own backyard. Seems like there is always a line outside. They must be doing something right.

Amazing hot dogs and shakes. The line is worth the wait. I miss the heavenly sweet potatoe spuds and hope that they add them back to the menu. Across from high school with unique pagada shaped roof.

Not quite sure what all the hype is about. Waiting on long lines for overpriced hot dogs for fairly decent food doesn't sound enticing. Maybe people just love places like these with a little history.

Walter's has been in operation since continuously since 1919. Yes. Nearly 100 years old. And the food is fresh, delicious and like nothing you've ever had. Hot Dogs split down the middle and grilled with the most delicious sauerkraut, relish, etc. They also serve, without exception, quite possibly the best milk shake you've ever had. You MUST stop by if... More

I am visiting from out of state and my friend took me for the first time to Walter's. I'm sorry but I found the food (hot dog, fries, white clam chowder, and banana milk shake) just average. No doubt I am used to my own, different hot dogs back home. The prices were inexpensive but that of course reflects the... More

Went for a nostalgia. Used to sneak out of Mamaroneck High in the 60's for a hot dog. Really happy to.see Walters doing well on their fourth generation. Hotdogs are still great. Nothing has changed.

Just by looking at the long lines all day, you know this is THE hot dog, my favorite for more than 60 years. I bicycled to get a hot dog when ist was 20Cents in the 50's.Now my grandchildren love them so much that i randomly send them some a few times a year while they are far away.
