A good meal of Surf and Turf, probably the smallest fillet Mignon I have ever seen and the lobster a little over cooked and the burnt shell should have been shiny to that for the chef. Otherwise a very tasty meal. Impressed by the range...on the menu and the ambience of the restaurant.More

First off, it was dirty, cobwebs, food crusted on menus. Then there was the food. Not seasoned at all. Pork was like trying to saw through wood. The $44 ribeye was a half inch thick piece of cold meat. And the server had all the...charm, sophistication, and etiquette of a 9 year old. The cost was exorbitant though. As we left, the host never looked up from their iPad as we walked out the door. I can only assume that they have enough first time visitors from the falls that keep the place afloat, because no one would make the mistake of eating here a second time. About as bad as any restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Terrible across the board.More

Recently had dinner and it was delicious! We both enjoyed the surf & turf, 3 appetizers, and a split dessert. All very good! Service was excellent and the atmosphere enjoyable. Recommend a whiskey sour on the rocks which was made with fresh squeezed lemons. Yum!

Overrated. I had a “Virgin Mary” that was pretty much tomato juice, spinach artichoke dip which was tasteless, and scallops florentine that had no flavor, soggy pasta and a drenching of gummy sauce. Dessert was a saving grace - apparently baked somewhere else. Service was...“meh” as well. Maybe it was just an off nightMore

Rotten food. We visited the restaurant for a peaceful evening in our first day visiting the Niagara falls. We got there around 5:40pm and the restaurant was not busy or anything. We asked for 4 plates. When the food arrived it seemed odd. But we...tasted it. The Chicken Pasta Primavera smelled rotten, it was bad. To top that I tasted it. It was rotten. We told the waitress and she agreed the smell was bad. I tried my plate and even though it was good I was not able to eat since I wanted to vomit. She went away but did not come back. Hungry and waiting, we asked for her. We paid for what we had ate, appetizer, and one plate; out of being honest people. But, while going out i spoke to the Manager. Worst than the food was his attitude. He DIDNT care. He said the kitchen was looking into it. I mean fine for their future clients, but the provided no customer service for us.More

The Red Coach Inn was recommended to us as a good place for a nice meal, more of an English table service experience than the usual fast food service common in the US. We decided to book a table for the evening expecting the restaurant...to be busy although on arrival it was not. Well how wrong was the recommendation. The problem was the service, the food itself was ok not blown away but better than some places we had stopped at on our travels. The server didn't introduce herself which seems to be the norm in the US. We specifically told her we when we ordered we wanted a starter & then a break before the main course was served, well that didn't happen in fact we were still eating our 1st course when a different server arrived with our mains, he was wearing an apron only fit for the bin in our opinion as it was filthy with goodness knows what, we pointed out we were still only just finishing starters & had asked for a break between courses. We would have expected as a minimum for the plates from the starter to be cleared before the mains arrived, he proceeded to place the mains on the edge of the table & then stand & wait while we finished after which he then removed some but not all of the plates. After finishing our mains we then waited with empty plates for almost 30 minutes for the servers to clear the table again. We declined deserts as we just wanted to leave the place as soon as we could. With a bottle of wine our bill was almost $390 for 2 people which was the most expensive meal we had on our 2 week journey but to be honest the worst due to the service or lack of it. The staff were often seen standing around on their phones, one appeared to have ear buds in & was witnessed handling his phone presumably listening to music while supposedly working. This was most certainly not the English dinner experience we were expecting.More

We stayed at a hotel on Buffalo Ave so when walking to Niagara State Park we decided to stop in for breakfast. The menu was large. Coffee hot, bloody Mary perfect, eggs cooked exactly as requested. Service was excellent. We decided to return for dinner....Food was excellent and worth every penny. Server was again, excellent. Many menu options.More

Though, once my favorite paradise (restaurant) to go while living in the Niagara Falls, NY area. I recently visited and was honestly shocked that they had fired (or replaced) the entire staff with in this writers opinion, the most incompetent staff anyone could ask for....When we arrived, the table that we reserved for lunch (we were one of two parties in attendance on the inside, with 5 waiter/waitresses on staff) our table was not ready, covered with remaining food from a (I assume) past customer, whether that day... 0r another. The host (I think) led us to the table which is where we were presented with this table. At once, the host attempted as quickly to clean up, while the wait-staff stood together watching. This is certainly not the same place that it was. With the Rapids across the street in a historic building dating back 100 years... This is not the way to respect it. I never thought that I would say it, but I would avoid this place until they get their act together...More
