Well we finally got to stop at Basil and Wicks for dinner Friday night. It was terrible!!!! Special BBQ duck wings (5 total) $12 My one and only was broke with bones sticking out. Way overpriced, not even salad, soup or bread was offered and we even had 2 Italian meals. Big thumbs Down!👎 I had a special for that... More

The Adirondack & ski decor create a warm atmosphere, especially for skiers. The food is very good, the prices are reasonable & the drinks are well-prepared. The staff is friendly but not overly so. Many locals visit here, too.

Four of us dined here our first night in Warrensburg. The restaurant is light and airy but due to the Rotary Club meeting there in the same evening and in the same room, it did get a bit noisy. My friend and I split a rib dish which was good but the ribs weren't as tender as those I have... More

What a great find, exuding charm, filled with locals in this small corner of upstate New York. Good food, super friendly service. Good décor.

There aren't many options in North Creek and this is one of the nicest in terms of appearance. Our food was satisfactory. Our server was lovely. There were two issues with our order - my soup arrived late and lukewarm, and one kid's meal came late enough that we weren't charged for it. The "Guiness onion soup" was heavy on... More

Staff was friendly but service was ridiculously slow. Ate 20 minutes later than all other tables who were seated 15 minutes later than us. Waiter was cordial but non-existent. Food was edible but not at all enjoyable. I had half bbq chicken. Breast portion was dry and tough while the leg was undercooked. Hubby had Cavatelli with sausage and Chicken.... More

We stopped in for a mid-afternoon drink and snack, ate in the bar. The greeting and atmosphere was incredibly warm and inviting. The draft beer selection was also good. Nice hard ciders available. We had the hand breaded mozzarella, which was a good holdover before dinner. We would like to go back for dinner, the food that other people ordered... More

After hiking stopped for late lunch which is pub menu. Be sure to check times as opened for food in late afternoon. Enjoyed the chicken sandwich grilled w bacon and gacumoli. Killer lobster and cheese mac also. Great service this place continues to rock. Never had a bad meal here.

We we're told this was a good place to eat,so we went for dinner.Rustic log cabin feeling with a really nice wooden canoe hanging from the ceiling. Service was good but the food was just average nothing special. I think it would be a good bet for lunch at the large bar or outside seating.
