Four of us ordered takeout for Sunday. The food was absolutly outstanding and there was plenty of it; we're actually eating leftovers tonight! The included salads were huge and there was homemade bread to die for. This was takeout on steroids. I know Rich likes...people to order in advance so they can plan and we ordered on Friday for Sunday. Be considerate and order well ahead if possible and you will not be disappointed.More

We picked up take-out from the Inn on Gore (during Covid-19) and we so impressed by the quality of the food! The Polenta and burger were delicious, as were the Brussels Sprouts. Our favorite meal of our trip in the Gore Mountain area, and a...great pandemic-era dining take out experience.More

This rustic ski lodge serves excellent food with great service. It's busy when Gore Mountain Ski Area is open so reservations are recommended. The menu includes lots of vegan choices, including a three-course vegan dinner. Apps include chicken wings, Chinese dumplings, falafel, brussels sprouts Caesar...salad. Recommended entrees are Grandma's gravy, which is beef, pork and meatballs over pasta; potato-crusted salmon with broccoli and cauliflower; crab cakes (not fried!); crab-stuffed shrimp; scallops and shrimp over pasta. Homemade desserts, especially chocolate cake with dark chocolate ganache. are a fine way to end a meal.More

Nothing more to say. Unappreciative. Rude and obnoxious. Go if you want to be treated like crap, ignored or left waiting in an empty restaurant.

Owned and operated by the Minucci family, The Inn on Gore Mountain Restaurant is a tavern in North Creek serving American cuisine in a rustic, Adirondack atmosphere. Highlights include a stone fireplace, a wood burning stove, and a knotty pine bar. I was at The...Inn on Gore Mountain Restaurant for dinner New Year’s Eve after skiing in the area. It was a fixed-price menu with everything prepared fresh on site. I opted for the wild mushroom bisque for my first course, a garden salad for my second course, the prime rib of beef for my entrée, and the Bailey’s Irish Crème cheesecake for my dessert. Everything (including the service) was wonderful and only set me back $36. No regrets! Fun Fact: New York State’s longest hand hewn wood beam supports the tavern’s ceiling. Neat! Look for The Inn on Gore Mountain Restaurant at 711 Peaceful Valley Road. It rests on six acres of pine and white birch hillside and is normally open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays between 4:00 and 9:00 for dinner. Call ahead to avoid disappointment. Parking and wireless Internet access are both free.More

This is a very traditionally decorated restaurant. Lots of dark wood and heavy wooden furniture. The menu was a surprise because it contained lots of non-traditional dishes such as baked empanada and Chinese dumplings. I loved the dumplings and the Chicken Italia. The food presentation...is surprisingly pretty with fresh edible flowers. My friend and I went back the following evening partly because she enjoyed the chicken wings so much. I had a wonderful pasta dish. We ate too much to try dessert. The waitresses were very helpful and friendly. Make sure you book.More

Based on reviews thought we'd give this place a try, this was a big mistake! Upon entering we saw the dirt, the dust and cob webs filled with dead bugs, but we waited anyway to be greated. This did not happen. Instead we waited and...waited all the while all the while I became more with concerned about eating here. Finally, after a few stare downs from a very angry looking man (I believe to be the owner)he appoached us. In a very unfriendly and nasty tone he stated if no reservation then he had no table almost shooing us out. I was relieved and appalled at how we we were treated. We were polite, he was horrible! My family will never return, but maybe the health department should!More

The experience started with an odd exchange related to reservations. The place is quite sizable, but the host was impossibly conservative in seating tables. We arrived 20 minutes early to a place that was nowhere near capacity (an understatement) and he spent time considering whether...we could be seated. In fairness, there were just two servers, but also only a half-dozen seated tables (including ours) so it didn’t make sense and, clearly, left a very odd impression. In any event, the vegetable paella was quite good. The pasta platter and tomato tortellini soup were good. The steak sandwich wasn’t especially notable. The French fries, on the other hand, were notably bad...like, the kids didn’t eat more than one each kind of bad. The garlic bread was just strange. Without the sauce, I wouldn’t have taken another bite. It wasn’t especially tasty and just tasted unhealthy for the sake of being unhealthy...and I was eating garlic bread so I’m not all that health conscious. The place is very dated, but that kind of made it interesting.More

If you want to have fun, sit at the Bar. Rick will always entertain you. He has a wealth of information about Warren County. For FUN, I always pick on him for "Exotic Drinks" and send him scrambling for Mr. Boston. The restaurant is a...Big Old Place, acoustics are not the best, like so many other places in town. I drive over 100 miles just for his Hot Wings and Steak. (We live near Poughkeepsie.) The food, you won't be disappointed. The table service, unfortunately this is North Creek, ya just cant find good help, constant turn over of wait staff in all the local restaurants.More
