About
Roka” Restaurant is settled in an old building of 1912 with interesting architecture –in an area where you can admire old preserved captain houses. The warm colors of the small courtyard filled with trees and flowers give you the feeling of a relaxing and pleasant welcome escaping from the crowd. Inside there are three small charming rooms to sit ideal for some colder nights near the wooden stove and enjoy delicate flavors. On the backside of the restaurant there is wonderful sea view of the northwest side of the island. Hidden and private but only a few minutes away from the main marble walk way. A new team with fresh ideas took over the restaurant on 2017 continuing the good work. Our vision

Although we turned up without a reservation, the host was very hospitable and despite being very busy found us a table. It was well worth the short wait, the restaurant has an amazing calm and intimate atmosphere. We choose a combination of Calamari to share,...followed by rabbit and steak. We both enjoyed the quality and taste of the food offered and it’s clear as to why this restaurant is so highly related and hence popular.More

We ate at Krinaki many times during our stay and the waiter mentioned their sister restaurant Roka so we decided to check it out and we weren't disappointed. There were six of us and we were given a lovely table in the terrace garden. Lefteres...our waiter was very nice and helpful. He really knew his stuff. Our starters included Greek Buffalo Burrata, Imam Bayaldi and the Politiko Kebab. All were fabulous and the presentation and flavors were so nice. We were sorry we didn't get more as we shared. Our mains included the Dorado, Rabbit, Sea Bass and the Chuck Flap steak which is probably the best steak I've ever tasted. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The greek yogurt dessert was very tasty also. The prices were very reasonable considering it's central location. Would definitely recommend this lovely restaurant to anyone looking for good food in Oia.More

Roka was recommended by our hotel as a restaurant you should go for good food as opposed to the ‘views’, (which is the case for many a restaurant in Oia, Santorini)…and we were not disappointed. Every dish we tried was exquisite and it’s own twist...on the flavours. The wine list had a good selection of Greek wine from Santorini as well as mainland. Staff were friendly, welcoming and warm. For the quality the pricing was reasonable. We hadn’t booked and had to wait as staff were meticulous in check Covid status of every customer but this was to the place’s credit.More

This was one of our top spots in our 12 day visit in Greece, across Athens, Crete, and Santorini. That pasta was so good that I’m going to try my hand at recreating it at home this week. Highly recommended!More

Had a balcony table with a view of unkept weeds but this is a food review. Started with an Imam Bayaldi; not stuffed eggplant but a small eggplant that had been cut in half and pan fried with a sugary sauce, two grocery store pre-boiled...shrimp had been put on top. This one was an insult to all Imam Bayaldis. I had Bouillabaisse that was listed as fish with a variety of vegetables. Bowl contained a very salty, fishy broth with a small filet of fish that was also "fishy", 3 small pieces of celery and a piece of bread in the broth. I ate about 1/3 of it and gave up. My wife ordered the Greek Pasta and told me that it was bland and lacked enough sauce to coat the pasta. Charge for bread and an extra charge for olive oil on the table.More

What a restaurant! The food, service and setting were all amazing. My girlfriend and I came here on a recommendation and were not disappointed, we had a booking (highly recommend) our first night and it was so good we came back again on our last...night with no booking, the host recognised us however and a special effort to accomodate us with a table. Aristoteres and Lefteres (I hope I've spelt their names remotely correct) were exceptional hosts/waiters and gave us some amazing recommendations from the menu (the shrimp & eggplant starter is the nicest dish I've tasted anywhere in the World). Can't recommend this place enough!More
