Lucky’s was one of our friends go-to spots while they were visiting so we decided to go on their recommendation. It’s a no frills pita/gyros/slouvaki joint. They offer combos - 2 slouvaki pitas or 2 gyro pitas + fries and a drink for €10. A...pita is about €2-3 per for protein, lettuce, tomato, tzitziki sauce and fries. It is pretty good for what you pay for. The size portions are good for what you pay. I was full after one pita and the side of fries. Forced myself to eat the other pita and somewhat regretted it. Could use more protein but for €2 I was satisfied. HOW TO ORDER The low-down on how to order and get your food - as I was initially confused but got the gist of it from observing and was confirmed by someone who must have been there before. When you arrive there will be a line forming outside. Ignore it - head straight for the cashier (unless the line is actually formed from the cashier) . You’ll place your order and will receive a receipt/ticket. Head back outside where the Cook is. You’ll be handing the receipt/ticket to the chef for him to make your order. If there’s a queue, wait in the queue and hope everyone understands this is how it works otherwise you’ll be standing there for a while getting angry or annoyed that your food isn’t out. There was miscommunication between me and the two people who ordered in front of me. I tried to explain to them that we have to give the Cook our ticket but I don’t think they understood me so I “cut” them in line and gave my ticket to the Cook. Definitely felt eye daggers as I got my food before them. All I can say is I tried to tell them and let them go ahead of me but they did not get the idea. TL;DR Too long;didn’t read - order at the cashier, you will get a receipt. Walk to the Cook and give him your ticket for him to make your food.More

Food was ok I guess but owner has a bad attitude. His definition of salad is some shredded lettuce and tomatoes. When I said I specifically asked for salad, that he said he can do before I ordered, he got really mean and said what...do you want for 8.50. That’s already more than the menu price and I have to take his attitude for it. Try Yogis. At least the owner is more understanding of what you want. First timers eating gyros and souvlakis overrate this place massively.More

The food here is great. Went here three times on our trip. The people who run this place are super nice and patient as your try to get through their long menu. There's usually two lines. Make sure you are not waiting in the pickup...line without a receipt first!More

These were the best Gyro's we had in Santorini, there are clearly a lot of choices and we have about 5 different rolls with this being the one to visit.

After being to Greece four times I think I can have an opinion about souvlaki with pita. We went around 22.00 and they were out of chicken and souvlaki - they said-. When we ordered two pita pork and waited for our food some people...in front of us where served chicken and than he found some souvlaki sticks for us. The pita gyros: the pita was good, but the meat was dry and tasteless. The tzatziki was okay-ish but it couldn’t make up for the bad meat. I honestly don’t understand the hype around this place. Maybe it was a bad moment?More

A hole in the wall. Run by 2 brothers (I think). Super hot in their shop but they keep on working industriously. Ordered 2 pork, 2 shrimp and 1 falafel, 2 small sparkling water bottles and 2 sodas- total bill 23 EUR. Food was excellent....What drew me to this place was not only the excellent reviews on Google Maps but that they had shrimp. My wife and I are pescatarians and this seemed to be the only place serving some fish/seafood inside a pita. You would need to eat in the small park/open area opposite the shop. On bar height tables. Was really cool. One thing: when you order don't assume the person who is cooking got your order. You will need to give your order slip to the chef for him to start on your order. Also be prepared to wait. They are popular. Will be back. PS: when we strolled around found a another place (Yogi's) serving similar stuff- with as much popularity- but that was more for tourists (in my view) and this is more the real deal.More

This place was terrible and took forever to make one simple gyro. They decided to make a bunch of gyros for the lady ahead of me and a few others, who ordered 1-2 each. So we all waited upwards of 20 minutes for a gyro...and they promptly forgot what I ordered and kept asking me what I ordered, and it would take them maybe 10 seconds to make (all the ingredients were there) but it took way too long to get. More than 20 minutes for a gyro! Are you kidding me. I was not the only one waiting either, others got frustrated as well. There are several not even a block away, go ANYWHERE but here.More

Our favorite gyros and souvlaki on our trip by far! A must try when in the area. Long lines mean it’s worth it.

This place puts all American gyros to shame! Friendly owner speaks English and the prices are legit. Bread is pretty fresh and the gyro is the best I’ve ever had! Apparently, they all put fries in their gyros on this island and I suggest pulling...them out and eating them individually before chowing down on the gyro. Definitely a must try!More

Simply put, the BEST gyros of my life! I was just sad we only went there a day before our departure. The staff was super friendly and funny! My girlfriend had a falafel gyros and she said it was the best falafel she ever had
