The workers are extremely nice at the bar and dinning room. When I was there there were a lot of people so there was a longer wait then usual but that’s my own fault for going during a rush.🤪🥰

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, have sampled many items via take-out. Haddock dinner for $10? Really? It was beyond expectations. Also tried pizza, wings, Italian platter, and seafood platter, with a salad. All were very good. Will keep trying more on the menu and looking forward...to dining in. Great atmosphere.More
Decent food, good service, and reasonable prices, but be aware that there’s a very far-right atmosphere here. There’s a trump cutout behind the bar and several employees were wearing MAGA hats and trump advocacy shirts. If you’re LGBT+, POC, etc you may not feel very...welcomed here...More
Hour and a half wait for gray meat. 20 minutes just to get menus. Don’t wast your time had to get dinner elsewhere after could eat what we had
First night in town, end of 4 day trip, Nothing on the main hwy looked good to us, so we headed downtown to look around, Drove by once, wasn't sure what the place was, drove around a while looking and finding nothing, went by again,...decided to look inside, Lo and behold, a restaurant, WOW Like others say, typical Italian fare. Grannies a spaghetti gal, she was happy, I got the combination platter, I liked it. All in all we were satisfied, Always an option when we are in the area Bring Cash, No Credit CardsMore
Definitely not what I would expect for a long established restaurant. Their sauce is absolutely the worse I’ve ever had, the haddock was flavorless, the waitstaff is slow and not really interested in waiting on customers. No debit or credit cards are accepted (it’s 2019...folks). Prices are way too much for the slop they serve. Huge disappointment. Next time we’ll go to the other establishment that was actually recommended. This place is the worse!More
This establishment refuses to accept any cards (debit or credit). Their prices are not any bargain and food is typical nothing to rave about. Almost seems "clicky" when you walk in. The usual locals and they eye up anyone that they don't know. Not a...warm, inviting feel at this place.More
We stayed overnight at the Oneida Community Mansion House, and both my son and I liked the idea of having dinner at a well established local Italian restaurant that features their own sauce. Service was quick, and we ordered Lasagna and Ziti with sausage and...the home made sauce. Both dinners came with bread and butter. Our dinners were o.k., but we were not overwhelmed by the taste of the sauce and didn't purchase any to take home. The saving grace were my sausages. They were some of the best I ever had, and I shared them with my son. We had also ordered 2 I.P.A. beers from the handwritten list the waitress showed us. That gave us an indication that the restaurant was not quite keeping up with the times. Their prices were not bad, but they only accept cash. That was a bit of a hardship for vacationers like us. I don't regret giving that place - and the sausages - a try, but I don't think we would go back if we visited that area again.More
We dine were often as there is nothing pretentious about the Wagon Wheel. They aren't trying to offer anything that they can't handle and you can come as you are and nobody is going to judge you. They offer all the usual pasta entrees and...a few that must be family favorites that are not so well-known. They also have some meat & seafood entrees that are not Italian and offer fried haddock dinners on Fridays that are very reasonable. We especially love their antipasto! We sometimes take home a couple of jars of their spaghetti sauce since it's the closest to home-made you can buy in a smooth sauce. I do agree with some of the other reviews that sometimes service can be slow or inconsistent but we usually just "roll with it"....this isn't someplace you'd usually go for special occasions or if you are in a hurry anyways. The servers are always friendly and pleasant but I think that they are sometimes understaffed or overwhelmed so they can't always give their best. Prices are reasonable and the food is good.More
Great food, their pasta sauce is excellent, I love that you can get 1/2 portion meals. Great for family gatherings or dining as a couple.
