Water Street Cafe is one of my favorite places in Oswego NY. It is a very casual place with a bar at one end and the restaurant at the other. It has the absolute best fish tacos. The old building has great charm and the wait staff are friendly and helpful. Usually interesting beers on tap.

I love this place! It has a ver Key West feel to it and a very eclectic menu! Have never been disappointed! Staff is very attentive and food always very good!

I've always had a good meal here. Lots of options, burritos, tacos, wraps etc. Everyone should be able to find something here The chips and pico de gallo that comes as a side is delicious. Also good and some local beer choices. It's a cutesy restaurant by the water and I go every time I'm in Oswego.

Lunch is really good here but be warned the sandwich portions are huge and definitely shareable. Also you might want to have time on your side. The service is a bit slow. Plus is that you can call your order in ahead and it will be ready way sooner. Too bad they don't take better advantage of the great view... More

Ate at the Water Street Cafe early on a Friday night. Variety menu, some with a a Mexican twist. Feature on wings. Interesting decor as this was once the town hall. There is a front bar where there is live music and a back room, seemingly as large as the front, with more tables and a second bar which is... More

The café is in the old city hall building which is really interesting. It also gives you nice views of the river. We were in Oswego for Suny's family and friends weekend and took our daughter for lunch there on the recommendation of a local. I understand that they were busy and probably short- handed but after we placed our... More

Brought my friend for lunch here today. It was noon and there was no one sitting at the tables so we asked if we could seat ourselves, which we did. Our friendly waitress finally came over, gave our menus, and took our drink orders. We finally ordered our lunch and considering that there were enough employees sitting around, it took... More

Good wings at a good price. The burgers are nicely done but a little pricey. The menu of sandwiches, burgers and wings is good for lunch but a little limited for dinner. I am happy with service and it is a nice location.

Food was good, but the service was not. Very friendly. Great setting on the river. Try to sit closest to the river outside so you're not in the sun.

very nice patio with a lovely view of the Oswego harbour. Friendy, knowledgeable wait staff, suprising, given that they are out of city students at NYU-Oswego. Good selection of beverages and a nice restuarant inside in an old warehouse type building on the Oswego River.
