Stopped in at the bistro before doing a wine tasting at the winery. I had the Cuban and my wife had the quiche. Both were well prepared and served hot. The service was prompt and attentive even though the restaurant was crowded. Great way to start a good tasting experience. Note: the Bistro is open Friday thru Monday so plan accordlngly.

We loved the wine tasting with Bob!! We enjoyed the food!! The service by Yaz ruined the experience. She never asked for a drink order. She never refilled our water glasses. She gave us the wrong order for appetizer. We told her we ordered mozzarella balls. She didn’t apologize. We ordered our food after getting up from our table to snag her in passing. She put in our order at 12:58 and received our food at 3:00. She had brought over a plate of food and we told her we didn’t order that. So she went to deliver this to another table. My husband ordered the pasta salad with his sandwich and got the salad greens. We saw the other waiters flying around and 4 other tables came and got there food after us. She should not be working in this fine establishment.

Hi there, we are sorry to hear that you had this kind of experience, however, we do not have a server by the name of "Yaz" here. ? We could also look up your ticket for food timing, as I don't think we have ever had a table wait 2 hours for food. Feel free to give us a call at 866-869-5805 or email us at customerservice@thirstyowl.com so we can sort out what might have happened. Again, we do not have anyone by that name here.

A welcoming and cheerful staff greeted us and we sat outside overlooking the vines and the lake on a perfect afternoon. Nice selection of drinks, wines and brews. I enjoyed the Mandarin chicken salad and hubs dug into a perfectly made Cuban sandwich. Service was great, we did not feel rushed and enjoyed our drinks and the views. Food was very good and we did bring home several bottles of both reds and whites. Tables are nicely spaced, dogs are welcome and everyone seemed to be having a good time.

We enjoyed lunch here and were very impressed. Service was good. I had spinach salad and my husband had the Cuban sandwich. The salad was fantastic and although the Cuban was good, it was not the same as the original you get in Florida. Absolutely great experience, would definitely return and the view while eating lunch was breathtaking.

This winery has a beautiful view of the lake from their outdoor seating area. We had lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The charcuterie board was amazing as an appetizer but then we had a hard time picking an entree. Prices were high - $18 for a salad or sandwich, $22+ for a lunch entree. We ended up each with a salad. The mandarin chicken was amazing, the blue cheese wedge not so much. Great selection of good wines though!

We took a two day trip and started by with a drive to this winery/restaurant based on a brochure we picked up at a tasting event. Its a beaufiul setting with indoor and outdoor dining overlooking, the largest of the Finger Lakes, Cayauga Lake. We had gorgeous weather so we sat on their outdoor patio, We enjoyed an appetizer of green fried tomatoes. My husband had poached salmon on a croissant --- delicious. I had "The Cuban" sandwich which was a delight. I grew up in Miami and was curious to see how well they did. I was not disappointed. We decided to try one of their wines with lunch, we enjoyed a glass each, it was corked for us to take with us. On our way out we purchased another bottle for home.

We stopped for lunch because of the location. We had visited the winery before but never eaten there. We had the wedge salad and Ruben sandwich. We order a glass of house wine each. There are indoor tables, but we sat on the covered patio. Lawn tables are also available outside. Our food was ok. The Ruben was on white bread with plenty of meat. My wedge salad was good. I was disappointed that no crakers or bread were served with it. There wasn't even a breadbasket to order. The wine was ok. We might go again if in the area. It was very busy, and the hubbub was distracting. But it was a beautiful day so there was that. The grounds are well maintained and beautiful.

We love this bistro. We usually go in September and are able to sit on the patio. However, we went this year in mid October and had to eat inside. Every table was taken and there was a waiting list. We waited in the wine store about 20 minutes before being seated. There was only one waitress working, Alex, but she did an excellent job. We each ordered the Cuban panini and it was excellent, along with a bottle of a dry reisling. As I said, Alex did an excellent job but the gentleman who was seating people could have helped her with serving. He did bus the tables. We will be back again next year

Very nice outdoor setup with beautiful views! The food was average at best (tried their charcuterie and cheese boards - meh - more like a bunch of store-bought items thrown together including crackers!? instead of the typical nicely toasted slices of bread lol). Winery was very nice!

This is an amazing outdoor dining opportunity. Located on a hill looking down at Cayuga Lake the umbrellaed picnic tables give you a breathtaking view. The food was very good and the service was great. The Wine tasting and shop are well worth the visit by water or car. They were sold out of their red wines which tell you how good and popular they are. Disappointed.

We thought Friday at lunch would be better than lunch on the weekend. Not so much, the place was packed. There is outdoor and indoor dining. Most people preferred outdoor, but we took first available which was inside. The service was excellent. Any of the vineyard’s wines are sold by the glass with your meal. We tried a glass of their Gewürztraminer and after lunch immediately bought two bottles. We split a cold salmon sandwich on a brioche dressed with guacamole and field greens. A fantastic bite. The soup of the day was New England Clam Chowder, but not like your mother made. I would call it a subgum clam chowder with large pieces of clam in a hearty/creamy soup with pieces of carrot and other vegetables. All the staff were friendly. Don’t miss this place.

Service was terrible, food was fair and over priced. My wife had Quiche, that was very good, I had pulled pork sandwich, dry and not very tasty. We each had a glass of Chardonnay, it was good, but a 3 ounce pour. Would not recommend or return.

The thirsty owl has a beautiful setting where they have a number of picnic tables available for you to have have something to eat and a bottle of wine or do a winetasting. The wine is delicious and the food was excellent. My husband and I had the pulled pork sandwich and the fried fish and both were really, really good! It was quite busy when we were there but they were very good about social distancing.
