Great coffee finally! Travelling around the finger lakes…. Not easy to find a cappuccino let alone a good one. The oatmeal and raisin cookie was yummy too!

Small coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating. They had a handful of fresh baked good, great coffee and friendly staff.

Wonderful to find a coffee shop in such a little town. Pretty little building with outside seating available. They will give you a sample to try also. Great little town of Ovid has everything to offer including this coffee shop.

Visited this quaint little coffee shop during Ovid’s strawberry festival. Very comfortable space with rustic decor. Owner was friendly and charming. Very good selection of hot and cold beverages and home baked goodies that were scrumptious. Will visit again!

No need to go to the Dandy or the Fast Trac for great coffee. A better place exists right off the main drag in Ovid. Fresh made coffee and super pastries await you visit.

Found this gem today. I’ve visited I think at least 100 coffeehouses or more in my travels. This places is great. The atmosphere is very nice. A decent amount of seating. They make a great cup of coffee and have some great products as well. I glad this is fairly local to me. I highly recommend it. Has some outdoor seating as well. They did a nice job with this quaint lil shop.

My sister spotted the ad for the new Seneca Coffee House in the Seneca Shopper so while we were out hunting down garage sales I said, let's check out this café. I really couldn't believe Ovid has a real coffee house like the ones I'm used to in nyc. Well, I wasn't prepared for it but I'm happy to report that it's not just good, it's great starting with the coffee to the décor and the friendly owner and his family. And, the pastries as I could tell at a glance are homemade, fresh and fantastic. I had a cheddar cheese popover, the last one in the case with my perfect macchiato. The coffee beans are from one particular coffee farm in Costa Rica and they're also sold in the shop. Let me just add that not only is the café a work of artful restoration, the owners have renovated the entire c.1860 building of this historic village (part of the Military Tract laid out by Ithaca's founder Simeon DeWitt and populated by pioneers and soldiers from the Revolutionary War). It's a great spot for locals, tourists and the community.
