First time visit, we will be back. First, they do a very good job with protecting you and themselves from Covid-19. You can wait for your order and eat it in the well spaced out tables. There is no table service, but they will bring...you drinks as you wait for your food. The ambiance is nice and "local." We decided to bring food back to our rental cabin to avoid possible exposure. The food was very good and portions large. We each were able to have leftovers for the next night's dinner. One miss, my wife ordered GF shrimp scampi. Unfortunately, they forgot the rice. Scampi was tasty and had plenty of extra sauce for us to make our own garlic bread at home. Staff (we only met one person) was very nice and helpful.More

The move to a larger location did not hurt the charm and ambiance. Well appointed, neither too bright nor too dark. We've enjoyed the restaurant and the fact that this carnivore and my vegan wife have enough choice in one place. Ask for the reserve...wine list. My one disappointment was that on this particular visit they were out of the she crab soup.More

While camping locally we ate here. Very pretty inside but we opted for table out front. It is on the street and some traffic but right now we like to stay outside. We ordered seafood pasta bake, scallops and shrimp scampi and a tuna and...dumplings. We had bang bang shrimp appetizer. All of us enjoyed our meals and half of the pasta dishes came home for lunch. The portions were large with a lot of seafood. The staff was very pleasant. We did make a reservation, I think that is required for outside seating as it is limited.More

First time at Cafe Adirondack, celebrating our 43rd anniversary. Dinner was amazing, servings were over the top and the prices were very economical. Started with Bang bang shrimp ( it could have been a meal in its self). My wife had shrimp pasta bake and...I had Ahi tuna and dumplings. Meals were delicious. No room for their homemade desserts. Reservations for indoor dining at 3:30, 5:30 & 7:30.More

Ordered take-out at the restaurant on 7/18/20. Young girl taking order must have started that day, as she was very confused on how to put in the 'take-out' order and neglected to give me a credit card receipt. Wait time was not bad, but we...should have checked the order when it was brought out. When we got home looking forward to the Bang-Bang Shrimp; we found small fried shrimp on wilted lettuce. No Bang-Bang sauce. Awful! And we paid extra for crumbled Blue Cheese for salad-no Blue cheese in the bag or on salad. I called the restaurant 2 times-initially to ask what the total charge was, secondly to complain about the missing items. I was told first the Manager would call me back, second that the owner would call me back. (perhaps they would make an adjustment on my charge card.) Guess what! No one returned my call!!! Nor was there an adjustment on my card. Very poor service. Last time I will go there!More

Have tried to get takeout soup from here multiple times over the past year and was turned away, even when there was a half-full dining room and the kitchen was clearly not closed. Apparently it is their practice to stop any form of takeout very...early on in the night. How much time does it really take to pour some soup in a takeout carton? Additionally, when I did manage to get takeout, the soup and the Bang-Bang shrimp were both ice cold, clearly they came straight out of the refrigerator. It's a shame, this used to be a favorite place, but now the food and service is poor and inconsistent.More

Great experience in every aspect! We phoned in our order of the daily special and the delicious bang bang shrimp appetizer. Did curb side pick up. Food was brought out to our car right away! The dinners were fantastic! We both had the grilled shrimp...over cheesy grits topped with creamy lobster sauce with steamed veggies. Lots of huge shrimp and done to perfection! Plenty of extra sauce for both the dinners and the Bang Bang shrimp. A great value for the money! The whole experience couldn't have been any easier during this time of restaurants only being able to do curbside pick up. We will definitely be ordering again and look forward to being able to dine in one day soon!More
