My husband's birthday and he wanted to try this restaurant out. It was a rainy Thursday so we were in luck - no reservations required. Note - they were advertising a special - if you sat at the bar the beers and homemade sangria along with a few fish options were on sale. I think it was M-Thursday 5pm-7pm. We... More

Surprisingly ordinary food. We had lunch and the restaurant was packed. Service was attentive and well paced. The sushi was good, not great. I was told that the fried fish platter was great, as was the grilled fish platter. My $29 lobster salad was a huge bowl of lettuce and a few pieces of plain lobster. Very disappointing. The server... Wonderful place, wonderful food, wonderful people but unfortunately our waitress was in lala land. She was very pleasant but she had to be told repeatedly what we needed, the sugar for the coffee, the straws for the ice water, refills, a mistake in one of the orders. Maybe it was her first day of work.

I'm really disappointed in my neighborhood restaurant. Are used to frequent lennies twice a week one on a Friday and one during the shoestring special. Well I think this is going to be the last time. I was there on Wednesday and they had the softshell crab special. It was so greasy I pressed my fork on the shell, a... More

If you a fan of oysters and you in queens, NY, go straight here to London Lennie's, you will always find a big choice of oyster, about 7-11 different ones, always fresh and tasty, also what I personally recommend to try in that place is " Australian cold water lobster tail" it has much tastier taste and different texture than... Foodies from out of town, and always avoid the chains, which takes a bit of effort these days. Came up with London Lennie's and we were incredibly pleased. Flat out great food, great service--just a great experience. The raw oysters were wonderful--I just ordered one of each available variety (8) and made my own sampler. I had the pasta with... More

Went to London Lennie's last Saturday to meet with friends for dinner. Everything was fine except for what seemed like a very simple request gone bad. My wife had ordered a seafood dish while a friend ordered steak. His steak came with two onion rings on top. My wife wanted an onion ring so I asked if we could have... More

Went with 4 generations of family. Came early and were able to valet the car and be seated immediately. Those arriving after 7 had long waits. We shared a green salad which was good. There was fresh bread and butter on the table. For entrees we had fish and chips, linguine withered clam sauce (huge- good for 2 -3) and... More

Definitely a must-go restaurant if you are looking for a good fish-dinner in Queens. I had the scampi cocktail and the swordfish as entree - both were delicious. It can be very crowded so that reservations are very much advisable.

Very enjoyable family meal here. Food very good and I appreciated that they offered kids menu as well as accommodating the vegetarian in our group by creating a mixed plate of several of the vegetarian side dishes. Excellent New England clam chowder; very fresh fish; home made icecream and rice pudding.
