I often go to bread alone in the Kingston area. Today I Visited Rhinebeck location! All locations have wonderful staff, great food. Good coffee. Excellent breakfast selection anything from egg sandwiches and very tasty cookies. Soups are a nice choice! But a bit pricey.

Nice, modern and healthy sandwich fare but not quite as good value proposition as in a good diner like, say, the EverReady in Hyde Park. The salmon on rye plate was tasty but not quite worth the $14 it cost.

I like the soups, sandwiches and deserts they have to choose from. It is also a nice place to have your laptop and/or read a book at.

Remember when coffee houses were neat little niches where you could sit and find your inspiration over a strong cup of a French Roast and croissant? This is not such a place. Just another turn-em-and-burn em restaurant trying to optimize profits. Coffee was poor. Americano was watered down, iced coffee was bitter. Tinny pop music was distracting. Bread was dry,... More

I have eaten at several of the Bread Alone locations, and they are all simply delicious! The bread itself is amazing- chewy, flavorful, fresh. On my last visit, I had the grilled cheese sandwich and a butternut squash soup and both were fantastic- warm, flavorful, and filling. Their coffee is always hot and delicious, and I really just like the... More

This is a nice little spot that I have frequented quite often for a long time in my trips to Rhinebeck, NY. This cafe serves in house made bread and treats along with some delicious pies and cakes. It has a seating area along with an area of where to be served. Very clean and efficient but be aware that... More

Went twice. The bagels and Danish are great, and the poppy seed pound cake is to die for. Had breakfast the second time. The goat cheese and mushroom omelet was not good, too much filling. Bread that was toasted was very good.
