It was my birthday and we thought we would try this restaurant for the "10 oz steak special". Well, there were 4 of us and we had enough fat and grizzle to make another steak. All we got from the waitress was "Sorry". In the paper it was suggested to bold italic letters that reservations were highly recommended. Well.......there were... More

Was part of a banquet party, Scallop meal had approx 1/4 cup of white rice and 4 quarter sized scallops over the rice, a typical small restaurant salad of pale iceburg lettuce, and a rolls. Other people had the "prime" rib dinner consisting of processed look/taste meat. The meals were only slightly warm. Dessert was a vanilla skippy cup in... More

We picked Rick's because of the Prime Rib that they are known for (Great). We drove from Niagara Falls Rick's to have a special anniversary dinner. For starters the place was slow and there was a wedding going on. The place is located down stairs which makes you feel like you are in a basement, The server was very nice.... More

We held our wedding ceremony and cake reception at Rick's in 2010. We have since had 2 funeral luncheons and several birthday dinners at this wonderful establishment. We make go to dinner there at least every few months for our date night! The owner Phil and his wife, is constantly making decor changes. We truly feel like family when we... More

I'm part of a group of 8. Generally we gather at one of our homes but once a year we eat "out" to celebrate all of our anniversaries. This year we chose Rick's. Just before we went there we checked some of the reviews. i just don't know what some of these people were talking about! Our waitress was friendly,... More

Hadn't been here in years and I soon remembered why! Very mediocre at best. Slow service and people show up in sweatpants and baseball hats. We were in jeans and sweaters and felt dressed up. Lobster was super salty, salad had so much dressing you couldn't eat it. Rib seemed much smaller than size ordered and all fat. Desserts were... More

This place was The place to be back in the late 80s early 90s. After going recently, it seems like the decor in the food are still stuck in that era. Food was decent, my pasta was overcooked w/bland sauce. Saw some of the prime rib neighbors plates, looked pretty fatty to me. Probably won't be back.

Saturday night wanted strawberry daiquiri, told out of strawberries. Had hard time seeing menu due to lighting. Rolls were over heated in microwave or stale. When ready to eat you could have used them for hockey pucks. Lettuce was wilted & brown on edges plus over dressed. 4 Prime rib dinners were ordered medium rare. All came meduim well or... More

I just took my parents to Rick's last night for their 55th wedding anniversary and I was very disappointed! Although our waitress was fabulous the food was terrible! We all got prime rib, mine was overcooked and tough. I had to send it back and the replacement was ok, but very fatty. No ones was cooked right! The salad was... More

We love this place and go so often we really feel (and are treated) like family. Whether a couple night out or a family dinner with our 4-year-old granddaughter, it is usually our first-choice. If you ask the 4-year-old where she wants to go, she says "Rick's!"
