Parking is tight in this neighborhood but the restaurant is delightful. So many wonderful dishes catering to a variety of gastric requirements. We had a great time and would definitely visit again. I would definitely use a reservation again, they are quite busy.

This restaurant serves high-quality comfort food and we chose to eat here because of the vegan selections. We had a mixed experience. We called the restaurant before arriving, to ask if they were open. When we arrived they said they had no seating available. We...decided to order carry out. When we got back to the hotel room with the carry out, there were several items missing. The restaurant was apologetic but it was a bit annoying that the order was not checked before handed to us, and we had to drive back to get our food. The food itself was delicious. The buffalo cauliflower this is good as everyone says it is. As fresh as the ingredients were, even the vegan meals were prepared as comfort style experiences. Delicious but not necessarily low-calorie. My guess is that the negative aspects of the experience can be explained by this restaurants deserved success, but the staff seemed overwhelmed.More

Food is always great. Menu is limited and often changes. The atmosphere is great but space is small. Not a good place for people with mobility issues.

We loved the food, though we aren't vegan or vegetarian. Those are just some of the offerings. We had the "saladboy", the fish special and several other dishes. The restaurant is in an old house with two floors. The noise level is manageable even on...a saturday night and the service is very casual, though friendly and competent. It is somewhat difficult to park there on a weekend since it's in a neighborhood area and very popular. We loved it and will return .More

Going downhill! The food is primarily fried and nothing as it were just two years ago! Idk what happened. I left a positive review some time ago as this place was delicious. I no longer agree with my previous perception of this bird nest.

My boyfriend and I went here on a Thursday. We made reservations and I'm glad we did because it was busy! We each ordered a drink and split two entrees - the Tofu and the Pimento Mac n Cheese. The tofu was perfectly cooked with...a crispy outside. There was a wonderful bourbon pumpkin flavor in the tofu and the sweet potato chile purée was amazing! The pimento mac n cheese was also a 10/10. The cheese packed the perfect amount of heat with the pimento, and I enjoyed the crumbled mushroom bacon (note: this is not vegan, as they use real cheese for this dish). Staff is always friendly and very helpful when providing information about the menu. We can't wait to go back!More

Had a late supper with friends at the Owl House when visiting Rochester, which was chosen because of their varied menu that accommodated both the herbivores and carnivores in our group. Not a disappointing dish at or table of 5, including appetizers. They offer an...extensive selection of microbrews from all over the country, which excited some of our group. While I didnt drink, my friends enjoyed sours and other brews, as well as cocktails and wine, and all spoke highly of them. Appetizers were all sharable portions and tasty, and entrees were large, beautifully presented, and delicious. Definitely worth a visit when in town!More

Great vegan food. The buffalo cauliflower appetizer was absolutely delicious, including what they referred to as the vegan bleu cheese, but what was more like some sort of garlicky hummus. It is a must-order. Dinner was also good (the bowl and a tofu dish). Veggie...burger was okay - Not great - but still good. Definitely a great meal and we will return!More

They definitely qualify on the vegan-friendly scale, and the quality of the food is spot on. It is my first choice for a plant-based breakfast in Rochester. If they rearrange the furniture they could probably handle 30... More
