The Cuban sandwich definitely lives up to the hype! The pork was very flavorful and tender! Will be back for more!

5 stars just on the Cuban Sandwich alone - that's how great it is! Flavorful and HUGE large size. Homemade bread from the bakery is fantastic. I've taken family & friends there and they all were blown away by the Cuban Sandwich!

Georgie's has great rolls, breads, and Italian and Spanish Pastries, but by far their specialty is the Cubano/Cuban Sandwich. Ham, roast pork, cheese, pickles, on a Cuban roll, pressed and grilled. Sounds easy, but somehow Georgie's does it better than anyone else within hundreds of miles. They also have a great fish fry on fridays.

Unlike many of the others who have reviewed Georgies, my wife and I were not familiar with authentic Cubans, but having read about it, we decided to try one. A small, unassuming place, we were greeted by George himself and he is quite a character. They had a couple of special which sounded good, but we opted for the Cuban... More

I have eaten Cuban sandwiches all my life, all over the world except of course in Cuba and hopefully that will change soon. When hearing how good George's was I had to visit. Fantastic sandwich! Fresh, flavorful and a gastronomic delight. Since this place is also a working bakery the bread was fresh and wonderful. George told me the pork... More

His Cuban sandwich is good, but a little too salty. He has Lunch specials, subs and some bakery items.

While visiting a friend in Rochester we happened to stop at Georgie's Bakery. It had been recommended by a friend and I wanted to try the Cuban Sandwich. That atmosphere was friendly and cool looking. Georgie greeted us and helped us with the menu. We all tried his Cuban Sandwich and rice and peas. The sandwich was amazing! He skillfully... More

My husband and I just went to Georgie's Bakery today for lunch after seeing it written up in our local newspaper as having the best Cuban Sandwiches in Rochester, NY. I have to say they are correct but I will go even farther....they are the best I have ever had in all our traveling. The service is very friendly, Georgie... More
