I enjoy visiting the market on Fridays, the fish fry is very good. however the prices in the store are a little steep.

I went here based on the other reviews for their lobster bisque and was not impressed. The bisque is not prepared by Palmer's, the woman that prepared my order had to get another bag from the back which in hindsight was a red flag. Nevertheless I forged ahead confident I'd get a good bisque but was met with disappointment after... More

We use Palmer's market for special occassion. We bring everybody in and have them pick what they want, from T-bones to King Crab. Food is always excellent, albeit a little pricey

While the seating arrangement is not great - basic and noisy, the fish fry and fish and chips are positively delicious and inexpensive. This is dinner in a meat market, but once the food arrives, it becomes all about the meal. You order at the counter, and a server brings dinner right to the table. For aficionados of fish fry... We stopped for lunch and had a fish fry and some sides. Everything including service was fast and great. They have a huge selection of seafood and meat in the store and prices were reasonable. If you go at noon, call ahead. They were busy.

My son in law saw the Burger Challenge at Palmers and he had to take it. The entire family enjoyed excellent meals while he spent 23 minutes eating a huge loaded double burger (20 oz of meat with bacon and lots of other toppings) with a pound of fries and a large soda. I had their fried clam dinner and... More

Prepared to order Friday fish fry. Fast, authentic and inexpensive. A Rochester tradition. Popular at 5pm with the senior crowd. Felt out of place without a walker.

I have heard from a few people this was a great place. So my wife and I had to try it when we were in Henrietta. We ordered the Cuban penni, sea food chowder and a side of Cole slaw. The Cuban was good, the chowder was not that good and the same for the Cole slaw. The food was... More

They do have a variety of choices, not all seafood. They are in the market so there are all the smells around you which I find to be overwhelming. The food is OK, nothing to write home about. I find the prices a bit high.

I met a friend for lunch at the market which is run by one of Rochester's oldest fish merchants. The selection was great, the food was fresh and well prepared, and the staff were friendly.
