Our group had three "adults" and a toddler. The employees were very helpful to us and the waitress was great. It was a little loud but they lowered the volume. The food was good. I ordered the cajun chicken sandwich. I asked if it was really spicy and was told yes. Well I hear this all the time and then... More

2 of the 4 shrimp poboy sand. were bad. the shrimp was tainted. Informed waitress gave them back to her. She took them in the kitchen and never came back with option to order something else or another fresh sandwich. Then informed us the owner/manager was not there and she could do nothing about the bad food or take them... More

It's so disappointing to see how down-hill the food is at The Beale. It is a neighborhood staple, and a fun atmosphere. The bar and wait staff are super friendly and attentive, but the food is AWFUL. I have eaten here many times over the years, but the last time I ate there (last week), I could barely even stomach... More

The Beale has changed hands in the past year and has gone through many tough times. Cook after cook has been in and out. There is finally stability there. The strength during this time and its strength now is the bartending staff. Thomas ahs been there since 1900 it seems and Steven and Jen are seasoned veterans. The food has... More

Not having been here for a while, we looked forward to a New Orleans type of dinner. It started off great. Only three tables were occupied but we were early - around 5 pm. A friendly waitress brought us two well-made drinks. Perfect. My guy got his salad which was basically field greens with an Italian dressing. It was ok.... More

I have visited this place numerous times both for dine in and take-out. The food is very good, they have live bands I believe almost every weekend. During summer time they have outdoor sitting. Their menu is really nice with an extensive selection of Cajun cuisine (jambalaya, creole, catfish etc.) Yes, I would highly recommend it.

Restaurant/bar was pretty up beat w/ live music. The prices are very reasonable and both me and my wife enjoyed our meals. Service was good too! I had the shrimp and grits and can def recommend it. My only mistake was not trying the gumbo. Next time!! Cheers

Been to The Beale more than a dozen times and never tire of it. The food is N'awlins/Cajun and it's really, really good. Ribs, Gumbo, Jambalaya, Catfish, Etouffee and more. Live music 4 days a week. Bands are always really, really good. Customer service, including Tim, the owner, is great. Whether you're a party of 2 or 24 (as we... More
