We hadn't been here in years but won a gift certificate so decided to give it a go. I had a Reuben sandwich that was huge. Took half home and it was excellent. My husband had a roast beef sandwich, asked for meat /hot sauce on the side because the meat was little bland. We were charged extra for the... More

The food in general is pretty good here. The fact that the place is packed every day for dinner is a testament to that. Personally, i come here for a few beers and some wings. Murph's is a great neighborhood bar. Murph himself is always there, he remembers everyone and always gives a friendly nod or hello when he see's... More

I've gone here multiple times and tried the fish fry, burgers, French onion soup, and fries. The chicken wings are pretty much all I order these days as part of the 50 cent wings Saturday special. They are usually very good. Although lots of rules to get the special-need to order a beverage (not just water), can't order them to... More

I was in town with my son attending a lacrosse tournament and had some time in between games but needed somewhere close. I have to say that this was certainly a pleasant surprise! From the very friendly server (who also worked the bar that day) and a meet and great from the owner I absolutely loved this place. The chicken... More

Local "dive" bar and good cheap eats. I like the wings and fish fry. The bartenders are friendly and hardworking and the owner is a sweet, gracious man. It's gets very busy on weekend nights with grandmas and kids in the restaurant and regulars at the bar. If you are in a hurry...go early.

And, I've had lots of wings. They have a huge selection of dishes besides wings but we had just the wings: garlic, traditional and parmesan. All EXCELLENT. Like beer? There's a fine selection. The owner personally greets or visits with everyone who eats there. It will be a regular stop any time we visit Rochester. ps - the place could... More

Been a regular there since the first week it opened. Went in for a drink mid-week during happy hour. Got a seat at the bar so it wasn't too crowded. Bartender walked past me several times and never even acknowledged or greeted me. Other people came in and got served right away. Gave up after 10 minutes and left.

Murph's is a legend. It's the old school town lounge. It's not updated or pretty. Some of the booths have torn seats. However, if you're looking for real pub grub this is the place. Since wings are always on our order, it's the first thing we judge. Order them very well done, Med Buffalo and you will not be disappointed!!... More

The place does need some cleaning and sprucing up but the food was so so slow! We both ordered salads and they did take and hour to prepare. The food was ok but I had a wing/salad special; the wings were very very dry, not a great salad either. We did like the wine selection BUT will not return!
