This is a very old guard establishment that looks a bit run down and rustic but still provides excellent service and well prepared standard American food. One way to know if a place has maintained quality is to try a well known standard. Their French dip was perfect. The service is fast and professional. The prices were moderate. This is... More

Hadn't been in a while, and so glad we chose Town Dock for dinner last weekend. Don't usually order specials but we splurged and thoroughly enjoyed the halibut and rack of lamb specials--deelish! We'll be back soon.

My husband and I met our daughter here for dinner. It was a cold evening and comfort food was in order. The offerings ranged from New England appetizers to sandwiches to full course dinners. My husband ordered a clam chowder (creamy but not thickened with flour), a wedge, and clams casino. Our daughter ordered a meatloaf (not what you think)... More

Service was speedy and accurate in this classic New England establishment where pub meets supper club. Welcomed quickly and seated immediately by friendly and knowledgeable staff. I ordered the crab cakes tonight with clam chowder as a light, late supper. Bottled hard cider paired perfectly with the meal. The crab cakes were divine; they were chock-full of crab meat, moist... We were walking around Rye and decided to stop for a light lunch before going to a wedding. The Clam Chowder was the best we had in Rye. The vegetable soup was also great. The apple strudel was demolished in seconds. The owner was very personable and accommodating. Definitely worth a try.

Love this place. The food is freshly made and well-prepared, and the staff is terrific. The atmosphere is akin to a high quality New England seaside tavern. It is a good spot for the family, or, if you are alone, dinner service at the bar works well.

Had dinner here recently on a lazy Sunday evening. Very friendly staff, food predictable but very good. A great place to bring the kids.

My wife and I go there at least two times a month. This is definitely a local restaurant. Love the seafood. Good place to stop in for a drink. Bartenders are like old friends.

Went to town dock and had a nice experience. Server was attentive and we got served pretty quickly. Their maple burger is not as great as I remembered it to be but still yummy. Nice selection of salads, fish dishes, sandwiches etc. kids menu is pretty classic- chicken fingers etc.

I come here often, and always enjoy! I always feel welcomed and at home, and the menu is traditional, but with its on flare. All of the staff is great at what they do! My family and I love Town Dock Tavern!
