Just great food. Very nice owner and chef. Loved it. French cuisine but flexible for kids. It is open daily and not as mentioned on TripAdvisor. Glad we called to check out if they're open otherwise we could have missed it.

We had not been there in several years for no particular reason other than you get used to going to the same places. The owners of the camp we rent every year recommended we go. We took a couple visiting us with us. It is a large space on the river with some outdoor tables in the middle of Saranac... More

We found this place by accident, and were we happy we did! What a great place for great food, a fine European atmosphere, reasonable prices, and attentive, but not overly attentive service. Wonderful pate, breads and spreads, desserts (they also own the patisserie next door, and entrees. Get the Bavette Bernaise!!! I couldn't recommend a steak more. It was fabulous.

This is NOT a place for foodies. This is not a French Cafe out of France. My impression is it is what happens when a well-intentioned American with no training, but a great idea attempts to simulate a French Cafe. It shows their lack of investment commitment to open a restaurant with a stove and a refrigerator you would find... More

We went there for our anniversary dinner (45th) while on vacation at Lake Flower. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is very nice. Service was great. We would return if we were in the area. They also have a brunch but were closed the day we tried.

We were seated immediately outside on the deck on a lovely evening--so far, so good. The server took our drink order after suggesting a wine I asked about, brought water, and disappeared for a while. She returned and explained that they were training another server who might also be helping us. (He did not serve us but seemed to be... More

We were passing through the Adirondacks and stopped here for lunch on a Saturday. We were early enough to get a table on the outside deck overlooking the water, which is an added bonus. We split a crepe and a tartine (an open faced toasted sandwich). Each came with a nice side of salad greens. The ingredients were fresh and... More

Was lucky enough to grab a dinner here mid-week without having reservations. Got to sit out on the patio overlooking the river, which was very nice. The food was spectacular! Had the slow roasted leg of duck, which I know can be a challenge to cook properly, but it was done to a tender and tasty perfection. Service was a... More

Once north of Albany/Syracuse, you have entered an alternate reality that must present all kinds of challenges to restaurant operators such as chefs, purveyors, weather, off season population. So here is some brave inspired individual with a true French restaurant far from Paris or Montreal or NYC! We enjoy ambiance, server and of course the food and wine.

My friends and I ate here and we all enjoyed our food. We sat on the patio over a river so our dog could sit with us. The staff were really sweet. Very accommodating and brought treats and water for the dog.
