Their home made Asiago bagel is delicious for breakfast and I love the Santa Barbara wrap for lunch. They make huge muffins too!

Stopped by the Blue Moon Cafe recently for a quesadilla and drinks. Quesadilla was flavorful with plenty of salsa and sour cream. Our waitress was very nice and attentive to our needs. We would go back to this friendly and relaxing restaurant to try out more of their food.

Bearing in mind that love Lake Placid, Sometimes Lake Placid is full of people, no place to park, and a wait at every restaurant. Take 15 minutes and drive to Saranac Lake. Blue Moon is a nice change. A quaint place for lunch or breakfast (have not had dinner). Nice meals that make you feel good after eating. Self serve... More

The giant omelettes feature all sorts of delicious combinations. We had a large group and everyone enjoyed their omelettes with homemade bread. This place can get busy but it's worth the wait!

I was brought here by a local for a late lunch. We had a couple nice sandwiches, with good service at reasonable prices. I wish I had been hungrier so I could have tried more. Great smells wafting up from the bakery downstairs. Unpretentious place, with good food. Looked like a nice wine list too. I'll be back when in... More

Was a busy place during our visit, workers seemed a bit "short" with us. We were patient even with service being snappy at us for just grabbing coffee and a baked good. The baked good was yummy and the mocha could have used more flavor. I( had to add sugar.)

Drove in from Tupper Lake to eat here and it was worth it. I'm not sure of the dish's name - "Rondack" I think but wow! Check this place out for sure when you're in the area. I'm looking forward to someday going back.

Thank you for the kind words. The Rondack Breakfast would be our House chili, café taters topped with eggs, bacon and cheddar cheese. The Rondack hunting camp scramble would be duck hearts, house smoked bacon ends and caramelized onions topped with NYS Vulto Walden Cheese. Glad you enjoyed! Ken & Tricia More

We saw the good reviews but were unprepared to find such high quality of ingredients that were so carefully prepared in this nondescript street side cafe. We visited for dinner and enjoyed a sublime cheese plate, crabcakes with a delicious sauce, and skirt steak that was very flavorful and tender. The best bread pudding imaginable. Friendly and unpretentious atmosphere -... More

I have been here a few times. The most recent was my favorite. I tried the omelette with brussel sprouts. I they were perfectly cooked and a very nice flavor blend. I got whole wheat toast and home fries with it. The potatoes were nicely seasoned and nicely grilled. The bread must be home made. Very good overall. I'll definitely... More

Wonderful breakfast / brunch! Not your everyday chain breakfast. We had the omelet and the eggs benedict and they were both delicious.
