About
Max London’s is a casual restaurant & bar committed to a high standard of food and drink. Our passion to provide real food from real farms in our area inspires our seasonal menu. You can enjoy a classic or signature cocktail, a glass of artisanal wine or locally brewed craft beer in an atmosphere that’s warm, welcoming and comfortable. We make all of our organic breads & Max’s mom, Wendy, Mrs. London herself, makes all our desserts, including our incredible sorbets & ice creams. Our Friday, Saturday & Sunday BRUNCH specialties include blue corn buttermilk pancakes, authentic yeast-raised Beligian waffles, omelettes made with the eggs from the heritage breed chickens of American Masala Farm in Hebron, duck hash, & cheeseburgers made from local grass-fed beef. Other features include a soup, pasta & risotto of the day, a slow-roasted pork or smoked beef brisket sandwich, chickpea polenta fries, steak frites from the potatoes of Sheldon Farms in Salem (we make our own ketchup) & smoked salmon (we make our own bialys). Our DINNER offerings always include fish & shellfish, steak, vegetarian fishes, salads, small plates & all of our wood fired pizzas, which are always available, even on our bar menu between lunch and dinner. The pizzas include the classic margherita (yes, we even make our mozzarella), mushroom, sausage, clam and a BLT pizza with Bacon, Leeks, roasted cherry tomatoes and Coach Farm goat cheese. Max London’s is Real food, Real fun & the Real deal. And we at Max London’s hope to see you again Real soon.

We sat at the bar for Sunday brunch, and I ordered the Blue Corn pancakes, which I have never found anywhere else. Recommend the housemade sausage pattie on the side. My wife had a farm fresh omelette that was alos delicious. The Bloody Mary's were perfectly spiced and contained pickled vegetables along with the usual garnishes, served by our bartender, Kristin\, who was very attentive despite having to work the entire socially distanced bar.

Visited for brunch today. Menu items have a nice “twist” to the ordinary. Chai waffles were yummy. Also got the eggs benedict. Both dishes were warm at best (definitely not hot). Atmosphere was good. Had a DJ which was loud but an interesting touch. Service was lacking. Either no one came to take our order or check on us once we got our food, or they were tying to clear our plates while we were still chewing. Overall, I’d go elsewhere. Overpriced for the food and service we received. There are lots of options in the area.

Was looking for a place close to my hotel with outdoor seating before I continued my drive. This had good reviews and took a chance, glad I did. Good service, coffee and delicious toasted bialy with scallion cream cheese, smoked salmon and tomato.

We were there last Thursday night. The lobster mac'n cheese was watery, the cheese was a cheap parmesan, the macaroni was mushy, with specs of lobster. Just the worst at $18 for this appetizer. The mushroom pizza was tolerable. While the crust and the mushrooms were good and what what one might expect for $18 also, the fact that they just plop two bland fried eggs on top of it made eating only one slice enough.
I was asked if we wanted both served at same time and that's not what happened. The mac'n cheese came first and was stone cold almost 20 min later when the pizza came out. What a farce at those prices and the place did not seem busy. Win some. Lose some.

We were in Saratoga for the weekend, and had booked ahead to eat at Max London's based on reviews we'd read.
They'd touted "Vegan choices" ( for my wife) on their site, but that was limited to an appetizer and little else. Still, she ordered a greek pizza minus cheese and my children also picked pizza. I ordered the Wagyu burger. A few minutes after the pizzas arrived, i suggested everyone start so as not to eat cold food.
Many minutes later, our waitress swung by to tell us there was a mix up with the burger and they were working on it.
Around 10 minutes later it showed up, when everyone was finished eating.
I refused it of course. I was out to eat dinner WITH my family, not in shifts.
Also didn't get 2nd drinks we'd asked for.
The food we did get was not great, burnt crusts and 5" toppings on a 12" pie.
Never again.

Also did a great job in accommodating our very large party (16 people)! The found and drink were outstanding. We are very particular about italian food and rarely order it outside of the NYC area. We had their pappardelle bolognese and their meatballs, and both were very authentic and tasty!

We chose this restaurant based purely on the fact that many in Saratoga Springs were closed on Monday evenings. Those that were not were busy and we were able to get a table here.
The food was really excellent. Two of our party had the Wagyu burger, they are quite big burger eaters but thought these were amongst the best they had ever eaten.
The risotto and rigatoni were also superb. The service was very good and we were given delicious bread with excellent balsamic vinegar and olive oil. The range of drinks on offer was very wide with some nice local beers and ciders. Would highly recommend.

On Sunday June 12 after staying in Saratoga my husband and I decided to stop here and have brunch. I was inquired by the breakfast grilled cheese. The sandwich did have bacon on it which I am unable to eat. When the waitress came I asked her if I could have the sandwich without the bacon. The waitress who was very sweet came back several mins later and stated the chef refused to make the sandwich without the bacon…WHAT??? I completely understand that sometimes it is hard to deal with special requests and accommodations but, I was asking for one thing…not 15! The waitress was very apologetic but, the fact that a professional chef in a high end establishment refused to do something to accommodate a customer leaves me in disbelief. Unfortunately after this my options were very limited as most of the brunch items contained meat. My meal was fine just not what I wanted. I am sorry to say that we will not be coming back here again. I have never encountered a chef at an establishment refused to a request o have had about removing the meat…NEVER. I guess it just goes with the saying there’s a first time for everything and Max Londons you were it.

Today was the first day open after the covid quarantine. We ate on the patio. I had ribs, and was able to substitute veggies for fries. No added cost. I actually had asparagus. It was roasted, perfectly! Great texture, not mushy, just the right amount of snap.
Hubby had Wagyu hamburger. It was cooked as requested; tender,
Menu has wide variety. Neighbor has Chicken. Generous portion.
Server was Michaela. Wonderful. Keep our glasses full. Everything was done/served in a timely manner. Would recommend

We had a change in plans so we were happy to get a reservation at Max London's early on a Saturday night. We were seated inside but all COVID rules were in place. We were not very hungry so we ordered salads. My husband had a seasonal Apple Salad and I ordered their Beet Salad. They came out quickly. Both were very large and mine had probably close to 2 cups of red and gold beets. We enjoyed our salads but I would recommend sharing if you are having a dinner after.

With all of the top shelf options for dinning in downtown Saratoga Springs, Max London's is in the top three. My wife and I dined there with friends on a recent warm Saturday evening outdoors. All of our meals were perfect. Our waiter Bob was professional, courteous, and friendly. We will be back soon.

A great restaurant begins with great attentive but not unfriendly service and we were given an a plus waitress, Katie. She guided us to great selections. Beginning with a featured beet salad. Wild salmon over a Brussels sprout compote. And the wago burger. But wait we went back for Sunday brunch. Katie served us again. The omelets were perfect.

My husband and I went there for a Sunday brunch. The waitstaff was so friendly and pored water and coffee right away. My husband had a Mexican inspired eggs Benedict and I had a fabulous avocado toast with grapes, Gorgonzola and walnuts. We also had a party basket from Mrs. London’s- amazing!! I would go again and want to try their happy hour and dinner service.

I was able to book on open table the week before we arrived . There reservation reminders were very timely .We were seated immediately & the tables were nicely spaced . We decided on the sausage pizza which was very good , thin crust & had a smoked flavor to it . The white sangria was very good & not watered down . The flourless cake was good but could have been a little warmed. Our server Jules was very attentive , efficient & personable . All in all a good experience .

Their brunch was excellent! There were so many delicious choices, we got 3 meals for two people and shared the 3rd brunch entree since we couldn’t make up our minds. The smoked chicken hash was delicious.
The blood orange mimosas were also very good. Lots of good drink choices. Definitely a good idea to make a reservation as it was at full within 30 minutes of opening. They also have a few outdoor table for outdoor dining which we enjoyed.
