Visited on a Saturday with family ranging from four months old to 64 years old! We tried to get in during what we thought was an off peak time at 3:30 but we were told that we could not get a table for another 90 minutes and that that would text us. We ended up getting in around 5:15. Fortunately we were able to hang out in the park until getting the text message. Food was excellent with big portions especially the pizzas!! That pretzel with cheese dip was excellent! The pretzels were very airy as opposed to the usual dense pretzels. If you are big on unique beers, this is the place for you. Advice on getting in, get there when the place opens for lunch so you don’t have to wait.

We wanted a typical American type restaurant & Druthers fit the bill per TA reviews, with burgers etc. It was a cool evening for people from Texas. Fortunate that the wait was short for an outside table, the wait staff moved us to a table closer to a heater as the inside wait was quite long. We had the cheese pretzel appetizer, it was great, nice & warm. I don't eat much meat & mac & cheese seems to be the hot commodity, unfortunately theirs was kind of bland, perhaps too much cheese mixing needed to be a bit sharper. 1/2 portion is enough for 2 people so definitely shareable. The cobb salad was awesome. Rest of our 4 person party enjoyed their meals as well.

Great place for lunch or dinner in downtown Saratoga. We had to circle around a few times to find this place as the entrance it is set back from the main street. Be sure to look for the sign or you will definitely miss an outrageous meal. I had the Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese sticks and my daughter had the Chicken, Bacon, Ranch Sandwich with fries. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable. It may be a brewery, however there were a lot of families there enjoying it just the same. You might want to make a reservation with Resy before hand to insure there is not a wait. Our server was awesome and everyone we came in to contact with staff wise was very accommodating.

The atmosphere is loud and the staff is untrained. Two ladies as hostesses, who couldn't manage to get us seated, despite reservation. Our table, which was full of empty plates, still needed to be cleaned and for some reason, this couldn't be organized. Our reservation time came and went, the table remained dirty, we remained unseated and parties that arrived after us were seated (at other tables). Hostesses were either unwilling or unable to fix the issue. I've worked in the hospitality industry a long time and this is the typical example of a restaurant living off its hype, hiring untrained staff who is either not empowered or trained to address even simply issues (much less fix). The atmosphere was loud, your typical brewhouse ambience. We left and went to another restaurant, which was a complete opposite experience. We spent a total of 5 days in Saratoga Springs, and our dinner (or non-dinner) at Druther's was the only let down.

We recently ate there and the food was excellent! We had the monkey bread, tacos, and loaded mac&cheese. I highly recommend all of them but if you need to make a choice go for the loaded Mac & Cheese. The side order (1/2 size) is enough to share. Our waitress was wonderfully personable and gave us good recommendations on other places to eat breakfast the next day.

We had dinner at Druthers. A fun, young, hip burger joint serving "Smashed" Burgers. Don't bother ordering a medium rare because they literally smash it so it ends up medium to well anyway. Delicious burger nonetheless. Their fries are really good. The sauce on the burger really added to the flavor. They have nice selection of brews. The monkey bread was amazing! We almost forgot we ordered burgers so had to stop eating the pull part monkey bread (cheesy garlic bread with a tomato pomodor type sauce) YUM city. Do try. Do enjoy. Don't eat all the monkey bread and leave room for the main course.

If you are visiting Saratoga, Druthers is an ongoing favorite with the locals. We had 6 in our party so reservations are good to have. A nice casual atmosphere offering diverse pub food selections ranging from peanut butter burgers to vegetable panini to pizza! I recommend their cran apple salad with steak for those watching their waistline and or their famous Druthers MAC n Cheese for those not watching their waistline! Oh and don’t forget to try their beer cheese and sour beer! You will be pleasantly surprised. This is not the place for a quiet soft spoken person because people will have to be well versed in lip reading or shout above the din! A good time was had by all so we will be back!

Went with a part of 10, staff was very accommodating of the large part and let the kids sit at one table and adults at another ( due to Covid restrictions, can’t sit 10 together). Sat in the courtyard which was very nice on a pleasant day. It started to drizzle and they closed the retractable roof, it was like being in Texas stadium. Everyone’s food was very good, not one complaint from a part of 10 is unusual. A must go to if your in Saratoga Springs. The only issue we had was the bar area was about 20 degrees hotter than the rest of the restaurant, which would make me not want to sit at the bar and drink more beer. Hopefully they fix that.

My spouse and I bought takeout from here while in the area so I cant comment much on the service, but we were blown away. I got the Gouda Burger with regular fries, my spouse got the same with waffle fries. I tried some of his fries and instantly regretting not getting them as well, though the regular ones were still great! Portions were pretty big and would have been enough for lunch the next day but we were traveling so stuffed ourselves instead - a little uncomfortable but so worth it!

My college age daughter and her roommates wanted to eat here because the Mac and cheese has a reputation of being off the charts! Our waitress was super friendly and checked in us frequently. We ordered beer pretzels for the table which were gobbled up. I had a cheeseburger which was cooked beautifully, my daughter had a veggie burger which loved and of course one of her roommates ordered the Mac and cheese. It lived up to the hype! It’s a casual place good for large groups and families.

The kids loved the macaroni and cheese. I ordered the Gouda Burger medium rare and a 1/2 Smokey Apple salad. The burger was not any bit of rare. Besides that I have a problem with the bun. Restaurants are serving burgers with the seared bun. The pseudo brioche bun has to be a certain structure to stand up to the searing. I think they add that so that people think the burger is seared. The place was jam packed when we went. The architecture is awesome. Frankly we should have sat in the open area. The back area (inside seating) was very loud. The kids enjoyed the food. I think the food could have been better. The rest of the group enjoyed the milkshakes.

While many comment on the mac and cheese here, I want to share that the pizza is outstanding. The dough is wonderfully tasty and the spicy chicken pizza is very satisfying. Only issue is some days, the pizza oven is out of service. Ahh, but then there is mac and cheese as well as a fried chicken sandwich. The service at times varies depending on if enough servers are staffed. But then that is true in many places these days.

Passing through Saratoga Springs and stopped here for an early dinner on a Sunday. Didn't have reservations so had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. Sat outdoors and was entertained by a singer who was good. Had the lamb gyro and shrimp tacos. Both very good. Did not like the pretzel bites. The pretzels seemed overcooked, but that is the way they serve them. The beer was good too. Enjoyed the currant beer. Reasonably priced.

We've been going to Druthers during racing season since they opened many years ago. It is always a consistent experience - great, speedy service and very good food. We've learned to go for inside seating, there is always a wait for the outdoor dining. Plus the air conditioning feels pretty good after a warm day at the track! On our most recent trip, my husband had a burger, cooked perfectly at medium rare. I had the pulled pork sandwich - minus the roll. They served it in a nice (big!) crock. Tons of food, we couldn't finish it all. There's a reason we keep going back year after year.

So, go gotta know going in that this is more about the beer and big portions of very average food. We ordered the beer cheese pretzels appetizer which was a huge portion, but the pretzels had no salt and were oily. My wife got the vegetarian mac and cheese, once again big and bland. I ordered the pork smashburger which was Ok but a bit underdone. Also I must mention that we were there on a Friday night and it was so loud that we had to scream across the table to communicate. The service was very good, but the food would not bring us back.
