Typical modern restaurant. Very noisy inside so we are on the porch which was more conducive for conversation. Caesar salad was missing something as it did not have much flavor. Entrees were very good. Service was good but delivery was slow, mainly because of the...More

We have eaten at Forno a number of times but this is the first time back in a couple of years and the menu has changed. I ordered the Vongole which is clams in a white wine sauce over a bed of linguine. The dish...More

I had the veal dish and it was exceptional. Everyone had something different and nothing but good things said about their meals. The steak looked great and I was told it was. You will enjoy it here.

A friend of mine that I hadn't seen in 10 years was coming to Saratoga the same dates as me. We chose Forno over Chiantis simply because she was staying at the Hilton across the street. We started at the bar with a glass of...More

Went here prior to a concert at SPAC. There were 9 of us and none of us could decide what to eat, what to drink, etc. The waitress had to keep coming back and even had to repeat the specials several times but she never...More

This was our top dining experience in Saratoga! We ate here while staying across the street at the Hilton. We made a reservation earlier in the day and requested outdoor seating. I would highly recommend making a reservation as when we arrived the inside of...More

The restaurant was very busy and so loud you could not hear each other talk from across the table. Food was average. My wife had a chicken dish that was very dry and my salmon was not cooked thoroughly. The service was very slow (again...More

We made last minute reservations to Forno Bistro based upon a recommendation from one of the staff at the hotel we were staying at. It was a very good experience. Our server was fantastic - very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The interior of the restaurant...More

No. Not at all. If it's cool and they put you on the porch, bring a jacket.

Description
Anchoring Saratoga's vibrant downtown Forno Bistro is a family-owned bistro that offers a variety of rustic, Tuscan-style food rooted in tradition. Our chef's use only the freshest seasonal ingredients to prepare dishes with respect to their flavors, appearance and aroma. The menu is sophisticated but approachable, expressing the sense of hearth and home that defines the Tuscan style of life. Forno Bistro's rustic, Tuscan-style food is hearty and unpretentious with sophisticated flavors rooted in tradition and always open to new interpretations and adaptations. Many of our dishes are greatly influenced by the use of the wood-fired oven: homemade pizzas, sauteed calamari, and wood-fired towers of vegetables. The oven is always the inspiration.
