I, and about 10 of my coworkers, stopped here for drinks/snacks after a conference. The inside was too busy to accommodate, so we sat outside enjoying our drinks, and then about 10 min later the waitress came back and said they had set up one of their tables in the downstairs section for us, so we could all go down... We we're seated at a nice but very small table at the window - good thing they serve small plates! The chairs were very uncomfortable. The wine menu is good and staff knowlegable, but charging $3-4 for tastes was strange for a wine bar trying to encourage people to fall in love with a new favorite! We ordered a tapas... More

Took me back to the happy hours of the 1980's when you could have a glass of wine or a beer along with some nibbles after work. The smokers' lounge is extremely well ventilated and comfortable!

We frequently walk by the Wine Bar but never stopped before. I expected tapas and small plates but the menu, although not terribly extensive, had a great selection. We had soup (not on the menu), a chopped salad and an artisan pizza (along with wine, of course!). The wait staff was pleasant. We were seated immediately with a great view... More

They are now serving 'taste' glasses in place of flights which worked well for us this visit as we didn't want a lot and we were drinking different types of wine. The kitchen closes at 10 and we always wish we could get a dessert or snack after that because we never visit before 10 as we generally have dinner... More

My husband and I decided to try their happy hour. We ordered the lamb lollipops ($8) and the chicken "tacos" ($8) First off, the lamb chops were tiny and overly salted. They served just 2. The menu states chicken tacos, plural, but we were served only one taco. I would have preferred taco bell. Very over priced for the portion... More

Friend and I decided to try out The Wine Bar at Happy Hour. Well, the service was very good, wines were reasonably priced and the Happy Hour appetizer menu had just enough items to sample and enjoy. Choose a window table and watch the world go by while you sip a little wine, taste the cheeses and fruit from the... More

As we shopped our way up and down Broadway, we checked out each of the bistros, restaurants and cafes along the way. About 4:45pm, we saw this place called The Wine Bar. We would normally just walk on by as we don't drink wine. But the food being presented to the patrons in the sidewalk seating area looked pretty good.... More

Very wonderful, fresh food, well-prepared. We shared the "watermelon salad," olive and peppers, and filet mignon, eating tapas style. Everything was great. Service was decent. We'll be back.

Stopped in for some wine and small plates during happy hour and had delicious cheeses, olives and fine foods! Will go back soon!

The Wine Bar is the outcome of a desire and commitment to create an environment in which people can share a casual evening with friends enhanced by fine wines and superior quality food in a comfortable atmosphere. The wine list, created by sommelier and owner Melissa Evans, is a representation of grape varietals, which excel in each wine producing region. The wine list changes frequently and showcases many esoteric and family-owned wineries. Our menu is a selection of small plates, entrees, fine cheeses and home-made desserts. We use only the freshest, highest quality ingredients including organic and free-range meats. It is our hope that you choose several items and enjoy the experience of different flavors while sipping one wine or several “tastes” of wines.
