I had the best almond croissant I've ever had and I almost missed it. When I saw that the price for an almond croissant was $4.50, I almost walked out. I'm used to paying $2.50 at Whole Foods at Union square in New York City, or $3 at the Union Square farmer's market in NYC, or $3.50 in a bakery. But my wife bought one and it was worth it. The top had a thin almond flavored crust, the center was nice and buttery, and near the bottom was a thin layer of marzipan paste. Together I have to say it was heaven for an almond croissant lover like myself.
We also got an excellent cannoli whose shell was still crispy even after sitting in the fridge for a half day.

2020 was the first time I came to Saratoga Springs, and on Broadway, I 'discovered' this lovely bakery. Instantly I felt it to be very European, on the highest quality level. It is small, with a constant line, fast and polite service, with good prices and top notch quality cakes, sweets, breads, sandwiches, and coffee varieties. Eating inside possible and is very enjoyable. I loved it so much, that I had to come back to town (2.50 hrs drive) and mostly to visit this bakery LOL>

I had heard about Mrs. London's for years and finally I was able to visit during a recent trip to Saratoga Springs. The selection of pastries and sandwiches was not huge, but I think that places that try to do too much can't succeed in doing everything well. I had an amazing roasted vegetable sandwich and coffee. The pastries all looked fresh and tasty. We sat outside on a warm October morning; seating inside was limited and looked a little tight. I look forward to trying Max London's next time I am in town. Their outdoor seating was directly next to where we were seating and everything looked great.

This is a wonderful lunch spot. The creamy tomato soup with cheddar cheese is a favorite. The desserts and pastries are divine. We particularly enjoy the nebula and almond croissant. This is also the perfect place to purchase a decadent dessert for a holiday or special occasion, or a gift certificate for a friend.

My wife went in first to see what she wanted(we had our puppy with us) and I didn't make the mistake I sometimes make -- order something different from her. She wanted the lemon almond croissant and when I saw it, I wanted one too. Yum. Great combination of croissant, lemon filling and just the right amount of crispiness. Looking forward to another one! Excellent service.

New York prices and New York quality in Saratoga Springs. Mrs. London’s apple tart was the best I’ve ever tasted - crusty and flavorful. The hot chocolate wasn’t sugary sweet, which was just fine. The lemon almond croissant was a tad bit saccharine but I’d still order it again; the size was generous, and I loved the slightly zesty lemon taste. The scone wasn’t anything special, but we’ll be back.

Like everything in Saratoga Springs, this bakery is expensive. A "Croque" sandwich, consisting of one (thin) slice of ham, two pieces of white bread, and a couple of tablespoons of bechamel that is pressed to heat costs over $10 with tax and tip. I get it that food prices are high and also that the cost of retail real estate there is crazy, but it wasn't lunch.
The pastry on the other hand, although pricy starting at $8.50 for what amounts to a 3 oz treat IS delicious. Be careful if you are taking them to go. Mine were packaged two in a larger box and slid all around spilling everywhere before I got them back to my room. We ate them anyway, but I'm glad I wasn't planning to serve them formally. The deliciousness dissolved my regrets at having spent so much on so little.
I gave one more star than I would have because I would go back for the framboise mousse. I'd eat it right there at the counter and be done.
For the rich locals that don't bake, I'm sure this place is a fave and rightfully so.

Don't go here hungry. You will leave with your belly full but your wallet empty! The cookies and sweet treats are a bit on the expensive side but the selection is mouth-watering. We had to stop ourselves from ordering stuff that we know we could not have for health reasons but it was tempting! Definitely worth visiting if you are in town.

My goodness! Great coffee and awesome deserts. There's so many to choose from. So chocolatey good. Very high end quality. They get extremely busy so try to go during late morning or afternoon in-between the crowds.

We stopped into Mrs. London's while visiting Saratoga. This was an amazing place. The variety of bakery items is tremendous. The staff was very helpful in describing each - and - they knew the ingredients making it easy to make a choice and avoid items that would cause an allergic reaction. We sat for tea, coffee, and a variety of items. The scones were great, as were the different croissants we tried. They also do a brisk take-out service, but we really enjoyed sitting.

Mrs. London’s never disappoints. I have been coming for 20+ years whenever I visit Saratoga and it is always a highlight of our visit. The pastries are delicious but the lunch offerings are as well. Before I drive home, I make sure to stop and stock up on some superior baked goods to take home and freeze.

I have worked in a fine German bakery owned by a native. The baked goods at Mrs. London's are of the finest quality. We took the Nicoise salad which was also excellent just like the coffee. It's worth standing in line!

Haven’t been here in a while but stopped for a bite when miraculously a parking spot opened driving down Broadway. Otherwise parking is a walk from one of 3 parking garages a block or two away. Disappointed in my cinnamon melt which was plain and much better cinnamon crumb over on Spring Street and they have a parking lot. London’s captures the tourist foot traffic.

We love this place. Whenever we go to Saratoga this is one of our first stops! The best part for me is the gluten free desserts. There are so many options and they are delicious. The menu is great, the food is even better. The atmosphere is cozy, and welcoming. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Thank you all who work here for making our experiences so wonderful & memorable!

The shop was adorable and had a nice variety of treats available. I stopped in for a coffee and a treat and had a hard time deciding. It wasn't the best coffee I've ever had, but it was very good. I think the pecan danish might be the best one I've ever had.
