For those of you travelling and are looking for an amazing authentic Italian meal in great environment then may we strongly suggest Osteria Danny.
Patti and Danny truly know the value of customer service as most of the patrons dining here in a Sunday we’re local regulars.
We met a number of new friends that evening and were able to se a variety of meals prepared by Danny and his team in the kitchen. All were simply amazing.
Do not hesitate to add this great spot to your stop while in Saratoga Springs, we know we will again.

Best Italian meal in ages! The only thing bad about our meal was that we over-ordered on the appetizers and could finish our main dishes. We loved everything! The burrata was devine, creamy and delicious; eggplant was a favorite, and the bruschetta offering had a range of delicacies. Our main meals were lobster pasta, bucatini with sausage/broccoli rabe and brick chicken. Our waitress was great and the wine paired perfectly! Wish I had this place in my back yard. Maybe best for my waistline that it’s not...

Osteria Danny's is wonderful in all areas. In these current challenging times for all of the restaurants in Saratoga, Osteria Danny's continues with its excellent food and service. Everything is the same , except for the mandatory new dining policies (mask/spacing). Food is great as always, wait staff perfect and all was clean. I had a craving for basic chicken parmigiana , which was not on the menu that evening, our server (Becky) , very cordially offered to check with the kitchen to see it it was possible to order and it was no problem at all. The chicken parm was the best I ever had !!
The meals are memorable.
Don't miss out on the amazing coconut creme pie for desert.
Another special dining experience at Osteria Danny's, can't wait to go back.

we have been here 3 times in the last 3 years. we werent impressed the first 2 times snd gave it another chance. this was our last visit and we will not be back.
tgis is a very casual place whike kime nore fine dining. but,if gbe food is good its ok. but it wasn't.
highlights of our experience
ambiance
campground,
a table that was18" 18" cheap plastic
blaring music
a rattling fan
food
prosciutto, the highlight nice golden brown toast...but. ice cold fresh from the refrigerator would never happen Italy
duck breast was under-seasoned, asked for salt saltshaker the salt was baked together, asked for a new salt shaker same desl nothing came out
service was pleasant.
its blatantly obvious that this place does not care about food
if you look for great Italian food go to chianti

We were looking forward to our visit and the food did not disappoint. The service, on the other hand, was subpar for such a great place.
The veal chop was the best that I ever had. It was that good. Same with the Bang bang shrimp. We also had the pasta in meat sauce and stuffed zucchini flowers. Both of these plates were good, but nothing special.
The service was really unpleasant though. We were rushed from the moment that we were seated and the waitress was uninterested in providing us with any guidance on the menu. Her responses were blunt and unkind. It was not just our table, as we saw her do the same thing to the next table over.
Perhaps this was an aberration and she had a bad day, but it was a shame that the service could not equal the incredible food experience.

We came here for dinner on a Friday evening. We had a reservation and were seated promptly by the chef’s wife. Soon enough our server, Becky, appeared and took our drink orders. The place was cozy and loud - to the point that you could easily hear other patrons conversations. We don’t like to yell at one another to be heard, so that was annoying.
We ordered a beet salad and an order of meatballs for appy’s. We wanted them to the table in that order, but Becky said the chef’s would probably prefer we have the salad first. We obliged. The salad was very good and large enough to split. The meatballs which were recommended by Becky were just OK. My husband makes better meatballs. The tomato sauce was good.
For entrees we had the chicken vodka over pasta as well as the veal Danny. My husband liked the chicken vodka enough. My veal Danny came with mashed potatoes, green beans and pieces of lobster in a white cream sauce. It would have been perfect with a quarter of the sauce. Way too much sauce, and it coated everything on the plate.
We had the coconut cream pie to split for desert, but did not care for it. It was too heavy.

A well enjoyed Italian meal! Beautiful and elegant outdoor atmosphere. Socially distanced for the circumstances. For entrees we enjoyed the fish of the day special (as the menu changes daily), chicken under a brick, and pasta bolognese. A note to add was we felt our server felt stressed and over whelmed with only 3 tables occupied on a Sunday night - it felt like she was rushing us out. But overall, the food and atmosphere was extremely enjoyable. We left stuffed and very satisfied!

One of the best meals we have had, food was outstanding from Eggplant to Veal Danny. But have never felt so rushed in a high end gourmet restaurant. We had a 630 reservation with Pauline as a server and asked if we could just put in our appetizer first, she said no it's against policy they have to put the whole order in. We asked if she could space it out, didn't want the meal right on top of appetizer, she said yes and walked away. We finished our eggplant appetizer and no later than 5 minutes our meal was being served. We were so disappointed, had no time to even enjoy our app and the meal was there. Its a shame that such wonderful food is ruined by the speed of serving. Not sure we would go back if that is typical of service.

I’ve been trying to go to Danny’s for the past two summers and each time I’ve tried, they were booked! (which is a good thing). Service and food here was outstanding, it’s definitely one of the best places to dine in Saratoga, our waiter couldn't be more attentive and accommodating. The bada bing shrimp is the must have for appetizer, you'll be scooping the leftover sauce with their fresh bread :) I highly recommend!

Made reservations for a party of three, got there around 8:15 but table was not ready for a 8:30 reservation. Outside seating was available and we took it. We had the pork belly and scallop, grilled octopus for appetizers, portion was kind of small but the food was very good. We all had pasta as our main course and they were very good, decent portions and very filling. The waitress was awesome, she was very tentative and answer all our questions. Came back and asked us if we need anything multiple times. Will come back because of the good food snd service.

Three meatballs in a tomato sauce. A pistachio cheesy pasta and a coconut cream pie suggested by the maitre d.
No bread or salad provided
It was $85 that’s ( $115 to us from Canada ) with the tip. I accepted this although none of the choices really wowed us. Perhaps dining in would have been the better option. Yes I am willing to try again in our next visit to the spa city.
Nice takeout containers!

Usually I look for ratings of specific menu items to help me select a restaurant. You don't need to know any specifics about the menu offerings here. It's all good. The staff is wonderful but special shout out to Terri; she was outstanding. We took our recommendations from her and she was right on and with a great personality to boot. I requested a vegan meal for my husband a few weeks in advance and owner Patty said it would be no trouble and we were presented with a beautiful dish. You won't be sorry here. You'll just be trying to figure out when you can go back.

We enjoy a downtown Saratoga Springs dinner with our west coast friends about once a year. Always trying liven things up, we gave Osteria Danny a try recently. We are ashamed that we hadn't dined here previously, and are still thrilled with our entire dining experience that magical evening. It was a rip-roaringly busy Friday night, and we never even came close to being disappointed.
The hostess warmly greeted our party of four, seated us at a prime table, and turned things over to the co-owner, who walked us through the process, the protocols, the specials, and the overall treat we were in for, all witout being self-absorbed or pretentious. She simply kicked off a tremendous dining experience. We enjoyed cocktails and wine, shared salads, a couple of veal dishes and a couple of pasta dishes, and wrapped up with particularly delicious French Press coffee and an unbelievably perfect shared dessert.
Nothing was amiss, the price point for both food and beverage was reasonable (but not inexpensive), and the service was stellar from start to finish. Thank you, Osteria Danny; we shall return!

Our meals were simply amazing. We started with the Octopus salad which was perfectly cooked. If you’re on the fence as to what to get fir an entree, choose the signature veal dish. It would have been worth the four hour drive just for that. The staff are friendly and despite the other reviews, we did not feel at all rushed. They do ask that you place your whole order (apps and entrees) together, but they came out perfectly timed and they gave us plenty of time to make our selections. We’ve had many other pricier meals in Saratoga, but we will be booking here for each return trip from now on.
