A little happy find on our way to the Catskills. Cute little restaurant in the center of quaint Saugerties with great selection of home-made burgers and a huge choice of beers.

Since moving to the wonderful Hudson Valley we have been gradually visiting all the great towns and villages here with all the great bars, restaurants, art, shopping hiking etc. they offer. We had taken a great hike at Poet's Walk above Rhinebeck NY and were looking for a place to have lunch. We headed up to Tivoli, and then to... More

Stopped in to the Dutch on a First Friday. We were greeted by a sweet hostess and we took the front window seat! Our waitress was equally nice and brought us our delicious beer selections. When we ordered the Moody blues burger, she said Oh, that's my favorite! It was a huge burger with smoky blue cheese, bacon and sautéed... More

My husband, my three month-old baby, and I came on a busy Friday night. Half of the establishment was under renovation, so they only had the bar area and a few tables and booths open. Nevertheless they seated us quickly and were very accommodating of the baby. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. The draft beer selection was excellent,... More

Stopped at the Dutch Ale House on the way from South Jersey to Vermont for lunch. Nice experience. Had the Applewood smoked BLT. Delicious and very ample portion. Good beer selection. Service was very good. Would definitely go again!

We've been here many times before, but today the food was outstanding! I had a gyro salad that was amazing. My husband had a chicken sandwich (it had lots of stuff on it, but I don't remember exactly what) and he said it was terrific. Our beer was great and our server was really friendly and fun. It was a... More

I don't know if I went on an off day or what. Stopped in for lunch based on the great reviews. While the food WAS good, the bartender was unhappy, maybe having a bad day, I don't know, but she lacked character and was not very friendly. She was never around, only to bring our food and when she noticed... More

Our favorite lunch spot in downtown Saugerties. We stop here every year when we are camping in the area because I’ve become addicted to one item on their menu: The Pilgrim Sandwich. This decadent sandwich, inspired by Thanksgiving, can really only be eaten once a year, but it is so, so worth it. House roasted turkey, stuffing and provolone cheese... More

I always have a great time in Saugerties during the First Friday activities but it's best to end the evening enjoying the food here. The garlic wings are awesome. You don't have to spend a lot. Just sharing an appetizer is good enough.

We've stopped here before, and enjoyed the excellent beers with standard bar food. Now they have a new menu and great, fresh, delicious food. Definitely worth a visit.
