This is a popular spot as it was busy for dinner. Favorites such as turkey and dressing,on the menu. Didn't like the soup. Skip dessert.as well.

Diner food...we have all had diner food at one time or another. It isn't good, it isn't bad; well there is an exception, the Redwood Diner. From the warm welcome by the hostess to the waitress's "What can I get you?", you know that this is a town favorite. After looking at the rather extensive menu, my wife and I... More

The Redwood Diner is good for a reasonable inexpensive meal. It can be a bit chaotic at times but for the price I guess one cannot complain.

Good food. Good service. GREAT desserts. This is a busy place. Truckers and locals crowd the tables. Worth a stop.

We were driving to Colgate & accidentally got off 90 and came across this diner. It felt like we were at the 1950s diner. The waitress was very nice & efficient. We loved our food. Service was quick & friendly . I felt better tipping the waitress in person since that is what I saw some of the other patrons... More

Our server Jess really helped us pick out what to order off the menu and her bubbly personality really made the visit enjoyable... More

I have been going to the Capitol District Renaissance Festival for three years and have eaten at this diner in the past. My husband and I think the food is average but it is very close to the hotel we stay at so we go for the convenience. I ordered the mac and cheese and it came with soup and... More

Not what is was 50 yrs ago. Hot dogs still awesome with their famous meat sauce, but other items just so-so. Manhattan chowder was was mostly potatoes. Stale bread on the thin corned beef sandwich. Better options available elsewhere.

I was craving a burger and decided to try this place for the FIRST time. Drive by it everyday so I ordered 3 cheeseburger deluxes for pickup. My burger and my mothers were tiny, smaller than McDonald's beef wise, had to throw out my buns and hers, we're both wet and soggy. My wife got a nice fat burger, what... More

A family run Diner for the last 30+ years. Very well known in the community. Great selection of traditional American style diner food.
