Cozy and enjoyable, we had pizza and drinks with an old friend who recommended the location. Very Adirondack feel.

Stopped on our way home from Lake Placid. Really enjoyed our as well as the service. Large menu that provided vegetarian and vegan options. The pizza was solid and the eggplant appetizer was great. Nice options for local beers and ciders. Will stop again if...we are in the area.More

We had the beef tips w/teryaki sauce and eggplant stacks...both excellent. Jambalya also good. Wanted one of their specialty drinks, but all out of Bailey's. Great service and food. Cute, unique tables chairs made of logs/sticks. Staff was great...left my face mask on the table...bench and hostess ran out with it for me before we pulled away. Thank you!More

Taking a fall drive and came upon this gem! Waited just a bit outside by the fire for a table and then was treated to really some delicious food! We had the cajun beef tips, the eggplant stack and the Salmon special. All were delicious...and we capped it off with the peanut butter pie! The atmosphere and service was also top nothch! Will definitely be taking another drive in the coming weeks there.More

We had a short wait but there was room for us to sit outside. We were seated at a high top table near the bar. Drinks were good. My husband & son ordered a pizza which they liked. Would recommend. Would return.

We enjoyed a meal outside, however it was still very cold even by the heater. Loved the pumpkin & bean soup they had as a special, and the pizza with mushrooms and truffle oil was enjoyable but the crust was a bit soft, maybe they...used too much truffle oil on it, not sure.Liked the wood fired taste. Staff were nice.More

We ended up here for dinner on our last night of vacation, and we had a great experience. The place was hopping when we pulled up, but we were seated quickly and enjoyed sitting outside near a campfire. There were many servers keeping guests happy...and well fed. Our waitress, Gwen was friendly and very attentive. The pretzel appetizer was delicious and fresh - definitely worth the price. We both really liked our entrees as well, salmon with a Thai chili sauce and the pretzel burger. The show stoppers for us were the salmon and unique French fries. My husband tried two local brews as well, which he liked. There was a cute ice cream hut (licks and cones) but we were too full for dessert. Wish we had tried this place a different night as well! Restored our faith in Schroon Lake eateries after previous night’s bad experience down the road. Pretty reasonably priced, but definitely expensive if you take the whole family.More

As this was my first trip up north and out of the city, I had no idea things closed so early! I am forever grateful that Sticks and Stones was open past 6pm. When we got there, it was pretty full - which I took...for a good sign. However, we were able to get an outside table super quick and it was pretty spaced out so I didn't feel uncomfortable or too close to another party. Food was amazing and at a great price. The meat pizza was delicious and was a good portion for 2 people. Would definitely come back.More
