I'm unsure if the two restaurants/pasticceria are run by the same people but the Forrest Avenue location leaves much to be desired. It seems like the kitchen's goal was to concoct food based on what was available, not necessarily what was authentic. The "St. Patrick's Day corned beef sandwich" was a Reuben - corned beef with Swiss cheese and sauerkraut... More

I used to frequent the location on Houston and LaGuardia in Manhattan. I was saddened that they closed. Then I was told about the Staten Island locations!! I went there for the best Cannoli ever! Then we ate dinner there for my birthday. The food is amazing! I love the fish encrusted with crabmeat. Everything there is delicious and worth... More

Disappointed at best. I bought $48.00 worth of pastries on a Sunday afternoon. Everything piece of pastry was at least 2 days old. Small cream puffs $2.00, small lobster tails $4.00. Way over priced and not fresh. Sad, this guy won the Bobby Flay challenge.

This place has one of the best brunches around. The drinks keep coming and there are beautiful spreads and fruit and pastry for the table. Entrees are large and delicious. Make a reservation because it fills up fast. It's a little loud, so be prepared for that.

Had a recent dinner with a group of 5 . It was well worth making a reservation for a Saturday evening and my understanding is they only take reservations for groups of 5 or more . We were seated on time with a comfortable table by the window . The food was excellent ....Our group had an assortment of pasta... More

We love brunch at Bruno's. Always delicious pastries, fresh fruit. Hot coffee! Mimosas and Bellinis! Eggs Benedict is so delicious. Great service.

Brunch is excellent. Desserts are the best! Relaxing just to go in and have a cup of coffee and pastry. They never rush you. Delicious breads too!
