I have been here several times to hear the live bands on Sunday evenings. The bands are always great! The owners and the bartenders are very friendly. They really know how to make a good drink here, unlike many other establishments in the area, including The Sagamore. Oh and the chicken nacho supreme is the best I've ever had!! What... More

We passed this place a few times while back and forth between Americade and our hotel -- there were always lots of folk there. If that wasn't proof enough, the unanimously positive reviews sealed the deal. The place has some worn spots, for sure, but the atmosphere is so genuine, relaxed and welcoming. The food was every bit as good... More

The Inn is a one -of-a-kind old fashioned road house where you can dance the night away on a dance floor that sends good vibes from years of dancing. The bands are mostly all local and I have never heard a bad one! The food is good and very reasonable; the atmosphere can't be beat, and the road there is... More

The only bad part is its open only seasonally....Dot And John are the best hosts ever, the food is amazing and summer time bands on Friday and Sunday. Its worth a trip from anywhere.

10 minutes north of Lake Luzerne sits the historical Stony Creek Inn! Entering I had a feeling of walking back into a happier time! Everything Dot Bartell and John Fickel put on your table is delicious so don't be afraid to try something new. The Adirondack views from huge windows were amazing adding to the happy feeling. Dot's gracious hostessing... More

We've been going to the Stony Creek Inn for several years, usually on the first night of our annual Week vacation up in the mountains. If you want a peek at a true American institution stop in especially on a Sunday night when live music is there. The place gets packed with everyone looking to let their hair down and... More

Dot Bartell with her husband John Fickel put out good fresh food from salads, burgers & pizza to steaks, scallops, etc. Sundays are known for the best Mexican dishes in the North Country - and the best live music in the area. A good time is had by all who visit this 150+ year old original Adirondack venue.
