The food was absolutely delicious, service impeccable and view delightful! I had the Mediterranean dish and my husband had a sausage sandwich.

We were a party of 3 and were able to be seated outside. The pork special was a generous portion of 3 breaded pork fillets with enough to bring home. The others were fried Haddock and the bread scallops. Food was well prepared. Nice outdoor...seating had a good view with a garden setting. Enjoyable experience.More

The staff was nice enough, but obvious new staff was being trained, took way too long to get our two items. My Chocolate Carmel Pecan sundae was to have Pecans, they later stated they were out, then no almonds either, so settled for peanuts. Sundae...wad "ok", nothing to write home about, the price of $6.xx was high for what it was. My wife's Frozen Mocha cappacino had lots of big chunks of ice and really did not have a lot of flavor, could be considered a bit weak.More

My wife and I visited the Oneida Lake area during the pandemic and were glad that we found the Canal View Cafe. The food was good (we had chicken parmigiana dinner, shrimp boom boom and crab cakes). The staff was friendly even under these strange...times and the prices were very good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.More

I had a great dinner tonight at the Canal View. Monday nights they have a shrimp special. I ordered 8 BamBam shrimp that come over a bed of romaine lettuce. They came out in a timely fashion, piping hot and seasoned perfectly. They were so...good I had to order 4 more before I left. Nicole was my server and she was as good as my dinner.More

From the initial greeting to paying the bill the Canal View never lets me down. Service is above average and the menu offers something for everyone. Shrimp night on Monday, Wine Wednesday and Sunday Harvest dinner are always popular. During the summer you will want...to take advantage of the patio dining. Save room for dessert or at least take something home for later. The Canal View is a beach favorite. Enjoy your meal and the beautiful yachts passing by on the canal.More

Had lunch here with my sisters just the other day and we all had great meals. I opted for their Reuben and it was wonderful! It was a huge sandwich and I could have easily made two meals out of it but I ate the...entire thing. Waitress was very nice and brought my sister a refill on her coke without being asked. How nice! The Canal View is my favorite in Sylvan Beach.More

We had a wonderful meal and the service was great! The atmosphere is so unique. We learned a lot about Sylvan Beach just by looking at all the souvenirs and pictures. Looking out over the lake was amazing.
