One of the worst Indian restaurant in USA I am visiting.i was returning from Niagara falls back to New Jersey and looked into Internet for Indian restaurants at Syracuse...found this one... surprisingly it has good ratings on TA as well as google. everything tastes stale and bad. Food was at least a month old. Very cheap place - not even... More

My first visit to this restaurant was with my husband and three of our (adult) sons who were home for the holidays. We thought our appetizers and meals were delicious and generously portioned. I'll definitely eat at Taj Mahal Indian Palace again.

I've dined here several times, as my friends like the place. The hostess is very nice and will prepare food herself to try to please, but the results aren't always on target, if you want "mild" food that has the warm spices, but not the fiery ones. The veg korma and roti are good; the rice is oily instead of... More

Second visit to this establishment. Thought the food was good. Ate in once, and did take out the other. Just an odd place... the owners children were sitting in the middle of this very small establishment, playing on their computer with bare feet propped up on the chairs. The food was good, no issue with that. Judge for your self;... More

We love Indian food and we're excited to try this place based on the mostly good reviews. Don't ignore the bad ones like we did - just go to a different place. Dried out chicken and cold food as if left over from the lunch buffet. Maybe yesterday's lunch buffet even. Watery sauces, incorrect descriptions at best, and bait and... More

This is a great little Indian restaurant. The food is consistently good with reasonable prices. The people working there are very nice, very friendly. The food can be spicy but they will make it "mild" if you wish.

Typical Punjabi type Indian food. Good food but nothing great or compelling to warrant a repeat visit. However, if we drive through this area again, we might visit this place due to reasonable food and excellent service in a very average ambience. Naans were excellent, mango juice was excellent and the entrees are average. Recommended!

We are lucky to have the Taj Mahal in the Syracuse area. It provides a healthy alternative to the typical fare of other restaurants. It is excellent for gluten free vegetarians. Lucky does a great job with the food and servings are very generous. We always manage to take away another meal. Delicious pakoras for starters, and for the main... More

We go here frequently on buffet nights (Friday-Monday). The food is always so good, and the owners and staff very friendly and attentive. It's not a fine dining experience, just a great place for a relaxed delicious meal with family or friends.
