My husband is not a fan but I love the Clam Bar. I talked him into going with me one Saturday night. The one thing that bothers me is it doesn't feel clean and it could use some updating. I can handle that if the...More

We had two drop-offs at syracuse airport, one early in the evening and one 2.5 hours later. The Clam Bar is ideal for dinner when you need to be near the airport. Terrific seafood and desserts. A fun bar vibe. Excellent service. All quite reasonably...More

Started below average with a lukewarm cup of unremarkable NE clam chowder. Went downhill from there with a haddock sandwich which was small, flat (less than an inch thick), overcooked, overpriced (more than 9 bucks!), and tasting of ammonia (due to being old) all on...More

The service was great and so was the food! The bartender did a great job keeping us laughing and our glasses full. The food was amazing. The casual atmosphere was perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Will be going back next time I come to town.

Loved the scallop and shrimp special, but I wasn't too crazy about the dish w ravioli shrimp and scallops in a red sauce.

I stopped by here during a stay in Syracuse. The place is definitely popular with locals and I can see why. Staff was friendly and service was prompt. I had the Haddock with crab that was very flavorful and the accompanying vegetables were very tasty.

Everything fried is frozen box stuff-nothing is fresh. Also, don't expect atmosphere-this place is tiny, loud and dirty. Judging from the ratings (mostly locals) nobody in Syracuse has had real fresh seafood. I give it a one star because the clam chowder was pretty good,...More

I flew in to Syracuse on my way to a golf tournament. This popped up. Ordered fried clams and steamed clams. Both were great. Cooked properly and not chewy. I’m from Florida and eat clams regularly, these rank well with home.

Based on the reviews, I was expecting a little more than what I got. It may be a good seafood place by NY standards, but not by New England standards. I believe the onion rings were frozen, not fresh. Small portions. Waitstaff were friendly.
