If you go at lunch time expect lines but it is worth the wait. Delicious soups and sandwiches, pastrami, corned beef, breads, spreads, etc. New York style lunch meats and salads.

We were working at an area facility and the staff highly recommended this sandwich establishment. They have been in business since 1975 which says a lot. However, on this particular visit I was not impressed. The staff seemed complacent and did not engage me regarding my order. I had a pork sandwich with provolone cheese and onions. It came cold.... For those of you old enouh to remember-the original Danzer's on Park St.where old Lou Danzer made sandwiches that you had to unhinge your jaws to get in your mouth, And all the subsequent Danzers which weren't up to par and the last one closed. There is still The Brooklyn Pickle where they make a huge sandwich with all fresh... More

We have talked about going to this restaurant for years, but we were never in the right place at the right time until a recent Saturday. At the last minute we decided to go for lunch. Although I had heard such good things about BP, I have to admit I thought it was a sit down restaurant. We walked in... More

A very good delicatessen specializing in large deli sandwiches. The sandwiches are twice the size of a normal sandwich. Plenty of meat.

Fresh bread, tasty deli fillings, efficient friendly staff and reasonable prices make this the best place in Syracuse for sandwiches. Take your sandwich to go or stay and enjoy the clean comfortable seating. No one rushes you here.

We needed to feed an entire wedding party of 16 while they were getting ready for the big moment, so we ordered a couple of 3 foot subs from Brooklyn Pickle. I can't speak of their other meats, but their turkey and roast beef were amazing! I would recommend them to everyone!

Hands down, the best sandwich in town----the turkey or the corned beef are awesome--but any choice is a winner--- can t beat the the size of this sandwich and price is great. #1 deli sandwich in CNY

the brooklyn pickle has been around for decades so they must be doing something right. I have eaten there several times in the last few weeks. the sandwiches are packed high with meat. the shaved meat is at least 2 inches high. and very tasty. normal sandwiches use half that amount of meat. they also have subs, soup, salads, and... Looking for a good deli "sammitch" -- it is not here! The service is horrible and confusing - you better have all your information on what you want (but you have to guess what they have as extras because I didn't see a sign!) or the counter help looks at in horror. The sandwich is so-so -- I say that... More
