Unique menu choices using fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables. The wait staff was knowledgable and friendly. Overall, a lovely dining experience after a very long day!

I regret being hesitant about ordering the chef's special. You don't get any information about what's in the dish until it arrives in front of you, and I couldn't give up that sort of control. But when the chef sent out an appetizer of chorizo, apple, and kale salad with cauliflower puree, I realized I would love anything that came... More

Our Inn Keeper told us this that this was the best restaurant in Trumansburg and my husband and I agree!!! We dined at Hazelnut Kitchen twice during our stay and both nights the food was mouthwatering. My husband was very daring with his food selection, he ordered "Let the Chef Decide" and had nothing but great expressions on his face... More

My husband and I have dined at Hazelnut on a number of occasions and it has never disappointed. The menu is geared more towards foodies with imaginative dishes created with local and seasonal ingredients in mind. The service is knowledgeable and attentive without being fussy. We would have preferred a bit slower pace as we had appetizers, entree, and dessert... More

A special unpretentious foodie destination. An imaginative menu well prepared and presented. A relaxed, quiet and spacious atmosphere. Tasteful cider pairings with each course. Good and friendly service. Good value. Will definitely return.

A very quaint resturant recommended by our B&B hosts. Did not disappoint excellent dinner. Featured many locally grown products & each prepared deliciously. Service was attentive and personable. Had many choices of wines from the local vineyards.

We were in town for 3 nights for our anniversary. We had dinner at Hazelnut Kitchen 2 out of the 3 nights because it was soon delicious. Our pasta dish compared to something we had in Italy. Everything we had was just amazing. My husband said he would drive the 4 hours just to have a meal from here again.

We went on the suggestion of the owners of our B & B, Halsey House. Dinner was excellent. Fit for foodies. Best restaurant in the area.

While in Ithaca in July to visit Cornell University, we had dinner at Hazelnut Kitchen and enjoyed their unique preparations of locally grown food. The duck, chicken and pork entrees were each unique but excellent. However, the piece de resistance was a generous dish of freshly picked blueberries for which they charged us $2!

We were beyond pleased with the recommendation to dine at this fabulous little restaurant. Such an interesting menu to tickle your taste buds. We dined here almost a year ago and I can't remember exactly what we had bc it was so eclectic and different, which is what I love...something you can't get anywhere else! The wine selection was also... More
