This was one of the strangest restaurant experiences I’ve had. I was looking forward to eating here, having heard good things from friends who have eaten there. We (four of us)wound up running out the door. This isn’t us. I don’t recall the last time I walked out on a restaurant. I’m also not skittish, having traveled and lived on... More

Friendly staff. Sweet peppers appetizer, linguini with red clam sauce, fradiavolo are among the tasty offerings available. The sauces on their entrees are excellent. Our favorite Italian restaurant in this area. Much better than Aquavina.

There aren't many places where you can get a big bowl of home made pasta for so little money! Pasta, sauce, meatballs... all really good, as were the greens we had as an appetizer. All meals come with a basic salad and garlic bread. Nothing fancy, but nothing to complain about either. Service was friendly, quick and accurate.

I have to agree with Maureen M who had posted a review before me. We ordered appetizers, one of them being calamari: they were rubbery, tasteless rings. Our meals all lacked flavor, albeit huge in size. We have heard such great reviews but left pretty disappointed.

Tucked in a run down neighborhood that I assume used to be Utica's Little Italy, we had some second thoughts parking on the street outside. Once inside though, this was probably the top meal of our entire NY/VT/Canada 10 day trip! The homemade pasta dishes were delicious and huge. My pork chop pizziola dish was amazing, with two huge chops... More

We were in town for a baseball tournament and although we don't normally get Italian food out of town, there were so many in the top spots of Trip Adviser, we thought we'd give one a try. We were quite disappointed. The restaurant is not in a great neighborhood. We were seated quickly and food brought quickly but our server... More

This is our go to spot for Italian food in Utica. Prices are reasonable, the service is quick. The menu has enough for everyone in the family.Highly recommended

I ordered a take out sandwich and said ready in 15 minutes and was. Wrap with care to go. Waitress very friendly and offer me a menu to take home as I often order take out.

Used to go here often but had not been back for years, what a mistake! Their food has only gotten better. The waitress was just great and fun to be with, the food just the best. The long hots were really hot and spicy. The ravioli made my wife's meal great but also the next day's lunch. Even the bread... More

Genuine old-time atmosphere with genuine Italian food (esp sauces). Nothing fancy, just dependable good food.
